I Love Sushi on Lake Bellevue

Fresh sushi on lake Bellevue, tucked back near a few offices. Large menu with various combinations. We had the large nigiri platter for 2 and a supplemental toro sampler, miso soup and green tea. Green tea came out scorching hot. Everything was excellent. Sea urchin is always hit or miss for me but was on point here.Given that it's Bellevue and the quality of the fish, you'd expect it to be really expensive but it's actually reasonably priced.

Nice Japanese restaurant with warm atmosphere that serves tasty sushi. I think they do a better job with their raw items than their kitchen cooked items. Wish the server was more attentive and came by to give water refills. Ordered the following:Tempura assortment (2 pieces of shrimp and 5 kinds of vegetables) - tasty, fried wellDeluxe sushi assortment (fatty tuna, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, sea bream, sweet shrimp, scallop, sea urchin, salmon roe, and tuna roll) - sushi was fresh and delicious, favorites in the assortment were the sea bream and scallop Chicken teriyaki - sauce was good, chicken tasted a bit undercooked, entree came out coldChicken Yakitori - assortment of chicken meatballs, skin, heart, gizzard and wing; not very flavorful, some items were under salted while other items were over saltedTempura ice cream - delicious, ice cream has a nice pound cake and crunchy tempura crust If I do come back, I would stick to the sushi, sashimi, and tempura items and skip the grilled items.

Went here for the first time last Friday after work. We were able to get a seat at 5:30pm or so, but the host did mention they were fully booked later that evening. I would recommend getting a reservation if possible.For the food, we ordered the geoduck and clam appetizer, a chirashi bowl, an I Love Kaiseki set, and the jalapeno bomber roll. I loved the chirashi bowl and thought the fish quality was excellent for the price and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The reason I knocked off a star though is because the other things were just okay. My partner did not really like the Kaiseki set. I would say stick to sashimi/nigiri here instead. We thought the service was good and the waiter was attentive. Only thing I'd add is - I wish the restaurant had a bit of music as it was eerily quiet.

I like the location by the water. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere inside, and there were lots of people dining when we were there and I felt like that the tables were kind of close together. I had a family dinner here around 6pm. Our server was professional and nice, but didn't see him much during our dinner. We ordered edamame, tempura udon, premium sushi set, and other sushi assortments. We also ordered separate sushi for takeout. The foods were average, not bad but not super great. Later when we were eating our takeout sushi, we found a piece of hair in one of our sushi. It was unfortunate!

This place is a hidden gem in Bellevue for sushi. It's located behind the Mercedes dealership and is a little hidden. It is very unassuming but has a nice little view of little Lake Bellevue! Also, it is owned by a Japanese man, so you know it will be authentic sushi! The servers are always great here and very nice and professional! The sushi is very good quality and they have a lot of great lunch specials and bento combinations! Everything tastes fresh and delicious.For dessert I highly recommend their tempura ice cream. It is to die for! Thank me later!

I love I love sushi on lake Bellevue! They have the most variety of fish I've seen for this price range in the states. It's a pretty big restaurant that's on a small lake. We came in on a Thursday night about an hour before they closed. There was a bunch of people sitting at the bar chatting which gave a very chill relaxed vibe. We were greeted and sat immediately. We ordered 2 dinner sets: 1 deluxe sushi assortment and 1 sashimi assortment. They both come with miso soup and salad. I wanted a Manila clam miso soup instead of the regular one, and our server Alex was able to replace the set's soup with the clam one. Shoutout to him for doing that!The salad was good, pretty basic. The Manila clam miso soup was yummy, clams were fresh and sweet. The sushi and sashimi were the star obviously. The sashimi set came with extra fat slices of tuna and salmon. The fish itself also tasted fresh and of good quality. Considering the price and quantity, it was super well worth and we left super full. Would definitely come again to try all the other delicious sounding dishes on their menu!

1/11/2024 Dined in for my husband's birthday and he requested to have his dinner at I Love Sushi on Lake Bellevue. We wanted to eat at the sushi bar in front of Taka San, but the bar was fully booked. We are a big fan of this location and also ordered Osechi for New Year. I recommend to make a reservation if you want to eat at the sushi bar. We were sat the table behind the sushi bar, but the service was quick and attentive. My tea was never cold!!

What a wonderful place set on top of a cute lake in Bellevue! Came by to celebrate new jobs and had a wonderful time. Our server was elegant and attentive, and treated us with quiet respect. I was surprised at how delicately he set everything down and took everything away!The omakase itself was delicious. The clam miso soup was a great starter and the fish itself was extremely fresh and beautiful. I've never had uni before but our friend who's had it in Japan gave it its compliments, and it was truly delish.Definitely on my list of restaurants to frequent with fellow sushi lovers now! Yay!

Foods were great. Sushi quality is good. They have interesting menus of daily specials. Nice and professional staffs provide decent service. Great place for sushi date. They also have lunch specials available.

The variety, the quality, and the value is simply amazing. It's a high-end sushi place with average sushi pricing. Possibly the best value in the country. You are always introduced to new types of fish and interesting and new preparations. Examples are things like Engawa, Kama Toro and Mantis Shrimp - to not try this place is to deny yourself a game-changing experience.
