I Love Bento's

They definitely just picked up 2 regular customers. Above average flavor, Above average freshness, Below average prices, Average wait time, Excellent customer service.

We have been trying to find different places to try and help out during the pandemic. We never came here before, but thought we would give it a try. When you walk in they have plexiglass up to separate the customers from staff. It looks clean and sanitary from the front. After ordering they ask you to wait in your car and they bring it out to you to keep social distancing which is great. As for the food, we ordered the Kids Bento 2 which has chicken katsu and gyoza. We also ordered the sweet sour chicken and the teriyaki bento. My son loves the katsu and loved the sauce. If you don't like a lot of sauce I recommend asking for it on the side, but for my son he said it was the perfect amount of sauce for his taste. I really enjoyed the sweet sour chicken. I am pretty critical on the balance between sweet and sour and they actually got the balance just right. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband's bento was good and he was happy with his dinner. Overall pleasantly surprised and I think we will be back again.

We live down the street so we come in often. Everyone who works here is incredible and so kind. The food is great and the service is exceptional! Highly recommend.

Very friendly customer service and anticipating needs if you want something. Very conscientious staff and clean tables. You can tell they are working very hard and although this can be a to go place where you order at the counter you can also sit at the table and they will take your order like it's a full service restaurant! The prices are just as good as a quick take away place, but quality and service is better! I think the portions were large and it tasted fresh and their teriyaki sauce on the chicken was really good. Parking is easy and it's right next to a grocery store and some gas station so it's in a good central area, right off 405 freeway as well... I will definitely be back again when I am in Kirkland

Just as the name suggests, I really do love bento's!! My husband and I tried this place for lunch takeout today and it was love at first bite. We each got an order of chicken teriyaki and shared some gyozas. The staff are super friendly and taking all the necessary precautions for your safety and theirs, while living in a COVID19 world. I'm so glad I have this place near my neighborhood because I love teriyaki, yakisoba, bento boxes, and all the flavors and textures! So yummy!

Teriyaki beef is my favorite around and love the gyoza as well! Great price too:) Always a good vibe here!

My wife and I are big fans of I love bentos, a teriyaki restaurant in Kirkland. We go there at least twice a month, and we are always satisfied with the food and the service. The food is fresh, tasty, and generous. We usually order to go, and the food is always enough for two meals. My go to plate is the spicy chicken and spicy beef teriyaki plate, which comes with rice and a salad. The meat is tender and flavorful, and the sauce is just the right amount of spicy. The salad is my favorite part, because of the dressing they use. It is creamy and tangy, and goes well with the greens.When we eat in, I like to get the bento boxes, because they have sushi as well. The sushi is made with quality ingredients, and the fish is fresh and delicious. The bento boxes also come with tempura, gyoza, and miso soup. They are a great deal for the price and the variety.The owners of I love bentos are really nice and friendly, and they always greet us with a smile. They make us feel welcome and appreciated. They also run the restaurant efficiently and cleanly. We never have to wait long for our food, and the place is always spotless.Pro tip: take in your own bag to save some money when ordering take out. They charge a small fee for their paper bags, but they are happy to pack your food in your own bag if you bring one.I love bentos is one of our favorite places to eat in Kirkland. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves teriyaki or Japanese food. It is a hidden gem that you will not regret trying.

2/3 of my platewas white rice and the only vegetable was wet lettuce. Meats were soaking in generic tasting sauce. One dish was so wet with unnecessary sauce you needed a spoon to eat the rice underneath.The shop is showing it's age with faded signs covered with printer paper add-on dishes.I can only assume the good reviews are from long time customers as anyone new would walk out quickly the menu is all over the plate. Bentos are very small part of the menu despite the name.I've had the same meal for less elsewhere. The grill food items are very good so go with the teriyaki and skip the fried items as the sauce is sour.

Food is yummy. My favs are the curry, chicken katsu (good flavor and oh so crispy!), and chicken teriyaki. Seok and Michelle are so friendly, sweet, and hard working! Saranghae!

The food here is really good! My favorite is the spicy chicken teriyaki but I also really enjoy their California rolls.
