I Ain’t Lying BBQ It’s That Good

I been in search of good ole Texas BBQ. Unfortunately, I didn't find it here. When I pull up & don't smell a pit smoking.. is usually a sign you getting mediocre bbq. I realized I had this bbq before from a food truck in the past. I have been to this location 3 times trying to give them a try & the food is nothing compared to bbq. Also, they close at random times during normal business hours.

Ribs were great, but no sliced brisket and no sauce on chopped brisket. The prices were not the same as on the website, everything is $4 more in person.

I stopped by this afternoon for a late lunch around 1:30 PM. employees were super helpful. I ordered two loaded brisket baked potatoes. Food was prepared right away. Both employees showed me my baked potatoes before bagging them to go. Great place for barbecue. I will be coming back soon. 5 stars all the way!!! Thanks again.

I ain't lying barbecue it's that good - is a friendly place to visit. The people are friendly and helpful. They have a full menu and the prices are reasonable including the five dollar brisket sandwich. However, I don't believe the barbecue is pit, smoked. The brisket and other barbecue that I had tasted like oven baked which means it was tender, but no smoke flavor. It definitely seemed like putting the barbecue sauce on the meat was a requirement. Unfortunately the macaroni and cheese was rather dry and not creamy. so all in all it's a nice place but if you're looking for true Texas barbecue, this is not the place.

I went for breakfast and even though the food was amazing as it really was so good. I just don't think it was a breakfast burrito. To me it was a burrito for breakfast. I thought the biscuits and gravy was very good and the breakfast tacos were just tacos for breakfast but still so good. They do not skimp on loading you up.

I had the loaded baked potato and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. Up until now, I've always favored my hubby's brisket over any restaurants simply because he doesn't over season and the natural beef taste is what I prefer.I instantly knew my husband had met his match, surprisingly, he agreed.When you order a loaded potato, stretch your arm before lifting, it is, by no means, an exaggeration. It is LOADED DOWN WITH HEAVENLY GOODNESS!I've never had pickles in my potatoes before, will never have them without now. I dug under to find a piece of brisket untouched by anything else, it was a task, but finally found it and the beef taste shines through. I'm a small woman, but I can put away some food, I was only able to eat maybe 1/4 of it, I had it for lunch today as well.Now, the pulled pork sandwich, which I did taste as well, was beauty in a bun. The flavor was perfection, the perfect amount of BBQ sauce and it melts in your mouth. He got 2 so he could have one for lunch as wellThe two meals were very reasonably priced for the amount we got.I'm a firm believer that the best restaurant can have the best food on earth, but be ruined by bad customer service. This is NOT the case here. The people inside were just as impressive as the food they serve.This will definitely be our go to for BBQ from now on.They definitely Ain't lying, they are AMAZING

Always satisfied with my order! Love the daily specials! They are great! Check Facebook to make sure they are still open before you head that way. They run out sometimes it is so good and close up early!

poor BBQ Who doesn't have sliced brisket when they call their self a barbecue place..Chop beef, famous sandwich, Was trash no smoke flavor at all. It was not even chopped it was more like it was shredded up. it was more like a roast than brisket . I don't normally do reviews, but this place was a total disappointment for me and my crew. I was embarrassed that I suggested the place. Definitely need a pitmaster look like a kid out there flipping chicken outside

The bbq is over cooked and hard. Broke a tooth on a brisket sandwich. Took a bit and bit into hard dry brisket meat! I don't recommend at all. I reviewed on Facebook and got deleted from a group, so this is a small town business owned by locals I'm sure and friends support the business. Dont fall for a bbq scam. The price is very good the bbq is awful!
