Hyshinu

We were craving sushi and this place had good reviews so we tried it out!It's like a sushi take out , you order at the front then they bring you your order. The place is clean and the staff friendly. We ordered spicy garlic edamame, very good!! Then my husband had a spicy salmon roll, he felt the fish was small for the roll but the taste was flavorful. I had to try the Rancho SanDeigo roll , it had a lot going on. I liked it but won't order it again if we go back. My husband ordered the 2xtuna roll that was good and very interesting. I ordered the Roberto roll, I liked it the most but could use more fish inside. Overall it was satisfying!

Hyshinu was my lunch time destination after running an errand in the El Cajon area. The suite was located next to the movie theater in the Rancho San Diego Towne Center which meant parking was not an issue. The seating capacity was less than 50 customers which included the countertop adjacent to the kitchen preparation area. Ramen, sushi, and poke were featured, however I wanted noodles for my meal which is what this review will be about.You started by choosing one of three meats (beef, pork, chicken) before deciding on one of six types of broth. Beef as a protein for a ramen bowl was a rarity. I chose pork, but unfortunately my top two picks for broth (Hybrid Black, Fish) were unavailable so I settled for the Premium Shoyu. Each order included a soft boiled egg, green onions, bean sprouts, garlic chips, corn, red ginger, and seaweed. I excluded the garlic chips but included the rest of the toppings.The bowl took a while to be prepared even though it was not particularly busy. After waiting around 15 minutes, I received my food which was a reasonable portion size for the price tag. The slices of pork were a disappointment as the meat was chewy and not melt in your mouth soft as I have tasted elsewhere. The remaining components were fine. For the quality of the ramen product I tried, my rating of Hyshinu was a middle of the road three stars.

Place is delicious. I don't go here often because I enjoy a more restaurant experience than a cafe style restaurant. I've been here twice. The service is fine no complaints on my end .

Always delicious! My go to spot when I'm craving poke! Pretty good sized bowl for $14. I've had the sushi + mango sake as well. Those were good too! Def would recommend this place!

I'm such a ramen girl and this place just wasn't it. I have my top 3 favorite spots but a friend wanted to try this place since we were close by. I was starving, so agreed. Maybe they are known for their sushi and poki but the ramen just wasn't good. The chicken taste like teriyaki chicken and it was burnt, the broth didn't taste good maybe it was a mix of the teriyaki and tonkotsu broth I also added (fireball) to make it spicy. When it arrived it looked delicious but the taste didn't match the presentation. We also ordered the spicy garlic edamame. Those were good

Great place to eat healthy clean food, always a great friendly service , ordered delivery this time and didn't disappoint, will absolutely keep coming back

I ordered delivery so I can't speak to the physical location or service. However, the food we tried tasted good and the ramen had nice flavor. Everything was packed well and serving size was appropriate - not too large or small for the price.

Got a to-go order of sushi and edamame. The front desk women were beyond friendly and helpful! Seriously made the entire meal great from the start. The roll was exactly how I ordered. The edamame was great but had an inch of old oil at the bottom. The edamame must be used in the same wok as the noodles bc there was a few noodles in the edamame. Still tasty but a little oily for my taste

The perfect stop!! Jasmine was so friendly and helpful. Everything was fresh and affordable. I loved my poke bowl.

Place has good food ramen was perfect would've gave this place a solid 5 stars but during the course of my dinner with my wife we were continuously swatting away flies from our food and personally I like to sit down and relax when eating with loved ones overall if you're looking for a good to go ramen place This is the spot but eating in idk.
