First time trying the buffet. Came around 1:30 pm on Sunday, it was crowded. Hostesses and method of seating people was confusing, most places ask you your name, # in your party then give you an estimated time for seating.. none of this exists and it is best described as unprofessional. Very hot inside as well, only half the ceiling fans were running and with it being 106 F outside, there was little relief inside, we were sweating as were everyone around us. Not enjoyable to eat and have to wipe sweat beads running down your face because management can't keep the place air conditioned properly, so it made for an unpleasant experience overall. We were dropped off at a table and that was it, no further service, no waitress staff, nothing explained and no drinks offered, you had to grab a bottle water of the bar, and just watched others to see what to do or where to go, again very confusing and extremely unprofessional! For $20 a person, I expect a waitress to greet me and take my drink order then explain the buffet procedure. Thus I can only give 3 stars. The food was the only saving grace.Cooked fish was tender and tasty. Chicken biryani was good, paneer butter masala was great, idli was good too. Great selection of southern Indian dishes.Well stocked and clean Buffett.

Sunday lunch buffet has a humongous variety of food. Want to say at least 50 different things to try out from including deserts. Food is tasty as well. Sometimes one has to be patient to get seated as they are extremely popular and always full of people who want to eat there.

The food when it's good it's great but they do drop the ball sometimes.Even though I love the food personally, quality and consistency are not always up to the mark. The buffet gets very crowded it is the best way to sample different things on the menu.I have ordered my food to go most of the times and had a positive experience.Only wish they would step it up in terms of consistency and giving the same quality of food.Definitely try things from their Weekend specials menu.Cheers!

I've been to Hyderabad House quite a few times now. If you go, I highly recommend visiting during their weekend-only lunch buffet. They always have a great variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes and desserts. It gets very crowded during the weekends, which speaks to the grandness of the buffet. Even a la carte, their food is pretty good. On my last visit, I ordered a Paneer Tikka Pizza. I suspect the pizza used was a frozen cheese pizza, but it came out spicy and really tasty, so I can't complain too much. However, I've found that Hyderabad House has pretty poor service. On a past occasion, the server rushed my party and I into paying and leaving the restaurant during their buffet, even though we had barely spent an hour there. On another, a server pressured us into giving a cash tip instead of through the machine. Despite the rude service, I'll likely return because of the food.

Located on Alma School Rd near Safeway. Plenty of parking.Fairly large restaurant with plenty of seating. For the prices, I would have wanted more food. For example the malai kofta only had 4 pieces in it (see photo). The No Name Chicken was really good.I think coming for the lunch buffet would be a better option. Based on the setup, it looks like there would be a good variety but look at the other reviews for that. For ordering off the menu, not sure if it really is worth the prices.

Food was yummy but the bathrooms are filthy. The only employee with any manners is the bus boy. Plenty of other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood. I will go elsewhere.

It used to be nice but now the food is bad apart from one of two things from the buffet.

I can only comment on the food as I ordered door dash. I love Indian food and for the most part I am always satisfied; but this was not it. Nothing about it tastes authentic. I ordered the chicken tiki masala and it was like tomato soup. The garlic naan was thin. And the chicken was cut for a toddler, sparsely floating in the soup. I would not waste my money on this spot. Try somewhere else.

The buffet is pretty good. A little on the pricey side, but there are so many options available, both meat and vegetarian, so I think it is worth it. I have been several times. I wish their buffet was open on weekdays as well. probably because the buffet is only open on weekends, it get pretty crowded.

Service was terrible. We went to go pay, and we had both cash and card. They did not know how to operate their system which is whatever I guess. The server then had a bit of an attitude. They started to grab our plates and basically start throwing them into the collection bin. Spoons were sliding everywhere onto the table because of the force he was using to collect the plates. A spoon literally fell from a plate smack dab onto the table with such force. It was crazy. He also was singing Ed Sheeran the entire time and started grabbing plates by putting his hand right in front of our face. Bad service, food was ok. Ask for spicy.
