Ordered takeout while visiting California for a LEGOLAND trip with family. Our family only eats halal and this was close to our hotel. Ordered the tandoori platter, mild spice, everything was delicious. Naan was great as well. Service was quick and excellent.Will be back next time :)

Wow! Came here since we were in the area and hungry. I was totally blown away by the food. Got the saag tofu with rice. And hubby for the lamb biryani. Food was fresh and flavorful. Fast service too! Will be back for sure.

This café was a slam dunk for our first time. It's a small location with a handful of seating options. However, the food was spectacular and fast. Everything I ordered had its own flavors, some restaurants it all taste the same, but not this place. I ordered Dammunna Chicken, Telangana Chicken Curry, Vijaywada Chicken Family pack, Garlic Naan, and of course, thumbs up , all medium spice. My friend ordered chicken tandoori lunch special (I was taking stuff home for the family to try and eat, huge indian food fans) The biriyani came with a side appetizer, Munchin Chicken (spell check) - Indo Chinese. This was literally my favorite, as it's so hard to find info Chinese here. The online menu shows indo Chinese, but in the restaurant, I didn't see the options. This place was literally so sooooo good! It's been a while since we have found a good place. All the flavors and spices were met at all expectations. Definitely will be back for more and to explore the menu some more

Finally some good Indian restaurants are coming to carlsbad. We had the egg briyani..butter chicken..tandoori roti..garlic Naan and hakka noodles. Good quality and very good food. I would ask for mild as medium was spicy but glad there was raita and daal.. so muxh to try there..I will be back to try more.Ambience..small.place to earService.. ordered to go and eat pretty quick.

I liked the reviews I read on this place so I thought I would give it a try! We ordered take out and service was fast and friendly. I noticed a lot of the dishes aren't spelled right on the menu. The place is clean and meant more for ordering food to go with just a few tables inside. I liked the food but the curry dishes do not taste as traditional as I prefer and some of the dishes tasted as if the cook dropped a whole bunch of sugar and instead of starting over.. kept going making the meal. There were lots of long slimy pieces of onion in the saag and the Tikka Masala. The mint chutney also had some type of crème added to it which I didn't much like over the usual traditional chutney.All in all this place is okay. There IS definitely better Indian food in Carlsbad than this place.

Just tried this today. They specialize in biryani of all kinds. We tried the goat dum biryani and the butter chicken and both were very good.. it's hard to make good biryani but these guys nailed it. Will definitely go back and try other types of biryani.

Hey Carlsbad peeps! Let's support this small, independent restaurant, so we aren't just stuck with chains.My husband and I tried this restaurant last weekend. It was so delicious! The chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, tandoori kabob and garlic naan were excellent! We will be back!
