Hwang Soh Grill

Great authentic Korean BBQ, it's so authentic their best meats are the offal that I just can't get my White friends to order. Don't expect butt-kissing American style "good" service, they deliver good Korean style service which is no nonsense and efficient. They don't just help you with the cooking we are supposed to do ourselves, they make good suggestions but also move you along (this sort of food shouldn't be eaten to slowly). I don't like that they don't have that lettuce that goes with. I like the K-Pop music, but none of the many videos were of the music playing, which was a little disorienting. Generous with the banchan.

BY FAR THE BEST KBBQ EXPERIENCE BAR NONE! I'M SCREAMING! aahhhhh! From the jump, ample free parking lot. Sold. Walking in, very short wait-even though it was busy on a Friday night, we didn't have to wait very long as it's very in and out. Fast service, fast food!Everything was delectable! Not AYCE but affordable! They offer you kimchi fried rice at the end of your meal as a finishing appetizer; it's quite pleasant!Service was very good! They offer grape soju and red raspberry wine. This. Was. Awesome.

I have been dining in since last review, today I figured I would update. Food is consistently good.

I entered at around 4pm - a non-busy hour for food, but the stomach calls when the stomach calls. while empty, we sat down and we're met with so many options. But it became easier when the server helped me out to get what was most popular on the menu.With kpop playing all around me, I felt the need to get soju to get the FULL experience. With bottle I hand, the small plates came out and were absolutely delicious. The Kimchi blew my tongueaway, and the piles of meat only made me want more. So tender and juicy, the meal took me to meat heaven with beef all around me. Nothing excites me more than Korean barbecue, and this place hits all the right tons. It's an amazing choice if you're nearby, and I fully expect others to come in, soju in hand.

Good quality with friendly service. Our server even cut meat into smaller pieces for my little one, so nice of her.

What a great Korean restaurant we found!It was our first time at this restaurant. We went in for a dinner on Saturday evening and had a great meal. Parking was easy. Had some parking spot next to the building. Service was good. Waitress assisted bbq grill when she had time. Food came out pretty quick. With fast tempo music playing in the background, felt like I was at a club at times. Singing along some old songs I heard back in the old days, it made bbq even more fun spot to hang out.

I got stuck at Ohare overnight and thought KBBQ sounded great. Hwang Soh was about a 20min uber drive away. Our servers were prompt and very helpful with helping cook the meats. We started off with the green grape soju and that is a new favorite. So yummy! It looks like Hwang Soh specializes in intestines after looking at the menu and the orders of nearby tables. We got the short ribs, pork jowl, and mix of small and large intestines. This was a ton of food for 2 people plus banchan. I would recommend maybe 2 meats for 2 people. The intestines had a fatty yet crispy texture. It was a match made with the soy bean powder. I do wish Hwang Soh provided some type of lettuce or perilla leaf to help cut the richness but they said they only had the green onion salad. The ban chan was standard but my favorite was the squash. Overall I would recommend a stop at Hwang Soh if you are looking for small or large intestines kbbq style. I am looking forward to bringing my parents here!

I LOVE THE FOOD, the ambience is very comfortable and the staff there are so kind. I believe this restaurant is family orientated and everyone and anyone should go to this restaurant.

Get the frozen Chum Churum Soju!Always full of Koreans. BYOC (Caucasian)?3 staff run the show and it deserves an encore.
