Huss Brewing Company - Uptown Taproom

The ambiance is great. I love the outdoor seating.We ordered a lot of food.The nachos: delicious! If you're not very hungry this can be a meal for two people. The pretzel: amazing! And the beer cheese is so good! I want another one right now. Haha.The smoked brat: So yummy!!! It was delicious and I'd definitely go back for another. The canned wine was great, and the ranch water is another great option for non-beer drinkers like myself.

Huss.. I love your beer and food, and usually the service is awesome. However, tonights experience was less than anticipated. The service was not great, the bartender looked absolutely miserable to be there or have to interact with anyone. She had a poor attitude, minimal contact, not friendly at all for a bartender role. When she finally took my drink order, she turned and started cleaning.. as I stare wondering what she's doing.. she realizes she spaced on my order and proceeds to pour my beer holding the glass in one hand and the dirty rag she was just wiping crumbs off the counter with directly over my glass the entire pour. I was disgusted and appalled to say the least, no care whatsoever for her job or the patrons. I usually love the service, but the staff is not the same as it once was, and the experience makes me rather go to the downtown location even though it's further away.

Back in town, and back to this joint...several new beers to try and they didn't disappoint!This time I planned to eat here, and happened to be around for happy hour... started out with the hummus... great veg, and the hummus had some body. Not as smooth as I'm used to, but the flavor was on. Next up was the black bean nachos with green chile pork.. massive portion and flavors were very good... salsa was authentic! My only complaint is that if most nachos... once you get beyond the crust the toppings and cheese disappear... I hate to even complain because I couldn't finish them anyway, but if I was splitting them 30% of the chips had no cheese or pork.Ambiance is backyard industrial, service was friendly and prompt, and prices were in line with expectation... this joint stays on the list... Boiler Up!

Beer, great. Service , great. Flatbreads, great. Sausage, great. went on a Friday about noon and it was empty but quickly filled up. Had an amazing experience, would definitely recommend the coconut stout or the sunny ale. cheers!

A fun location tucked in the corner pocket of the Uptown Shopping Center, this little brew pub is a treat. As an OG Papago Brewing fan, I love that Huss has kept the tea alive with some old favorites AND some stellar new offerings.The staff was super friendly and fast, and the food was also quick to the table and satisfying!

The staff here at Huss are among the best in the industry. They have a great variety of beverages and food items. The Koffee Kolsch is a longtime favorite of mine. Tried their Ranch Water recently and that stuff is ridiculously good. The Papago Blueberry Wheat is another EPIC beer from this great Arizona brewery. The location is easy to get to from all part of the Valley it is nestled deep in the corner of the AJ Fine Foods Shopping Center on the N.E. of Central ave. and Camelback rd.L.A.T. (Love Always Tim)

Worst thing about Huss is it's too far away! I live in Cbus Ohio, but my brother and I dream about the koffee kolsch! We make our once a year trek here, got a flight and wasn't disappointed by any beers- they're all so good. Koffee kolsch still came out on top, but really enjoyed the coconut joe and blueberry too. We also ordered nachos which were HUGE, and layered so nicely with black beans, cheese, jalapeños. Definitely in my top ten nachos! Service was great, our waitress is from near me in Ohio, she was friendly and very helpful. Super cute place, I enjoy the area. Love that there are crowlers so I could enjoy koffee kolsch during the rest of my stay in Phoenix. See you next year Huss!

Recently tried their coffee brew, which has got a good amount of coffee flavor, it's a blond beer that I typically wouldn't drink but it had coffee in it so I was down to try- I'm super glad I tried it was quite refreshing & just the pick me up I needed at the end of a very long work day.

Savory and refreshing beer, awesome and friendly staff, good vibes...unlike next door
