This is always a stop when I'm in WS for my favorite, yet obscure, European products I'm used to having in my pantry. German mustards, muesli, tinned fish, spices, etc. The shop is clean and funky - it definitely has a college campus flair. Especially due to the fun team preparing the sandwiches and scooping the ice cream. The sandwiches are made to order and really tasty. The meatloaf was delish. And the ice cream options are plentiful. Thankfully they'll let you try just about everything while you're trying to decide. The scoops are huge and the waffle cone is yummers. I really liked that they asked my niece which flavor she wanted in the cone first - you gotta end with the most tasty choice! The flair, variety of European products, and the nice group of people working here take it to a 4.

Cute country market feel with deli and ice cream store inside. Plenty of indoor seating which was nice. Was there at noon and they were definitely a busy place. Ordered ham panini special whole sandwich and grabbed a root beer from the fridge. $20 bucks total. I can easily spend $17 at a subway and it's nowhere this fresh or charming. Panini took about 15 minutes. I enjoyed it but I'd say it may have needed a little more time or the ingredients heated through more. Crunchy toasted focaccia was nice. I'd go back to try the ice cream and maybe grab some of their unique grocery items. San Marzono can tomatoes are great to have in the home kitchen for pastas and soups. Check it out if only to browse.

This is a old timey ice cream joint that feels like its been part of the neighborhood for a long time. The ice cream here is superior! Rich and creamy!I had a vegan pina colada scoop that was delicious and the portion was big. Honestly, I would get it to go next time and pour some sweet rum over it at home. Highly recommend.

What a place! Stopped by here because I was craving a deli sandwich. Not quite a NY deli but still has some decent sandwiches. It's more panini style sandwiches. The place is actually a mini market with a deli counter and ice cream counter. They have a wide selection of sandwiches - classics, signatures, cold and hot. They have soups as well. I ordered the 12th Man sandwich on marble rye. It was so warm and stuffed with a good amount of ingredients that balanced well with the bread. It definitely fulfilled my sandwich craving! I ordered the full size but it was too much so I brought it home. Decent price for a sandwich at $12. There's a lot of seating available and it wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon so you should be good to grab a seat. After the sandwich we were craving a sweet treat so we got ice cream at the ice cream counter. I ordered coffee oreo in a cup. It was a bit over priced for me - $6 for a size small cup scoop. But it was very delicious! I'd definitely come back for the sandwiches, nothing too special about the ice cream for being a bit overpriced! Great customer service all around!

I went there one day and the owner didn't even say excuse me and just shoved me out of the way. I told my son I will never come back here again. You say excuse me if you want to get through you don't just shove a women out of the way. Have some class you know who you are and yes I'm calling you out on what you did. Shame on you.

Really cute locally owned deli shop. Only complaint is that our sandwiches took over 30 min to prepare.. but otherwise everything tasted pretty good. I probably wouldn't get the Italiano again, wasn't that packed with goods and flavor was alright. Liked the pastina and mushroom soup a lot, was very cozy and warm. Next time I would probably get the warm sandwiches. We also got a pint of the husky flake which is just vanilla with dark chocolate flake which was really comforting and creamy.

This place has charm but my god are they ripping you off with sandwich size and Ingredients. Went here because of the reviews but will not be returning. The ice cream looks good and the staff is nice but the size and price of my Italiano sandwich does not make any sense. Came here to save money before heading to the airport and grab something to go. But do NOT make the same mistake I did. The sandwich is mid and the price is outrageous. The ambiance is fine I guess? I mean if you wanted to eat here you could. They have cute old time groceries but the sandwich took 10 mins to make...and for what?? 2 stars is being generous.

I can't speak for anything but the ice cream, since that was what drew me to this spot. We came by on our visit to West Seattle, and had heard good things about the ice cream here. Being someone who LOVES ice cream and basically cannot live without it, I was super excited to try. They let you sample flavors which was nice, as I couldn't decide between my go to mint oreo or the popular coffee oreo. I ended up with the coffee oreo, which had the perfect creamy texture, wasn't too sweet, and had plenty of oreo chunks inside - exactly how I like it :) Definitely stop by here if you want some ice cream!

An absolute treasure. Delicious and creative ice cream flavors, super nice staff, and so much more than ice cream to try.

Have been wanting to check out this place for their ice cream for the longest time and finally got a chance! In the past I wasn't able to spot by for a treat after dinner seeing the location closes at 7. But I was in the area and walked by at around 8:45 to see that they had an ice cream walk up window open until 9!! Of course I had to go get some, there was a short line but they were super quick and efficient. We were able to sample some of their flavors through the window, mind you can only get ice cream this time of night so the shop doors weren't open. They also only had one worker who seemed a little bit stressed. For the weather and time of night it was decently busy, which comes to show how good the ice cream is. For us, we settled on a couple different flavors and they were all delicious!! They were so rich and full of flavors with an amazing creamy texture. You can tell that love and high quality ingredients are put into the ice cream here. The worker was also so kind in telling us about the place and helping us pick out flavors. It was a little on the pricy side but never the less it was 100% worth it and I would definitely recommend trying the ice cream here!!
