I made a reservation for my husband and I for his birthday after hearing great things about this place and following them on Instagram, captivated by their weekly changing menu. As a big foodie, I had high expectations, and I was absolutely blown away.We wanted to sample a variety of dishes, so we started with the hamachi stack, which was fresh and delicious. The bacon-wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates with beets and honey cream were an exquisite blend of flavors--truly a must-try. The clams and chorizo were cooked to perfection, and the pork with poblano stuffed pepper was a fantastic way to end our meal. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor.The drinks were just as impressive. My favorite was the Porn Star cocktail, a delightful blend that was perfectly balanced. My husband enjoyed a bourbon neat and then a blackberry bourbon cocktail, both of which he thoroughly enjoyed.Despite having a reservation to sit inside, it was a bit warm, so we opted for a lovely table outside. The service was exceptional, even though it started a bit slow due to a large party inside. Once things got going, everything was seamless. All in all, the food was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was top-notch. We will most definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We have been here four or so times now, and will come back for sure. While we have had different experiences as far as service, the food has always been fantastic.The menu I believe is seasonal and constantly changing so I would suggest to check out the menu prior to going, I was a bit disappointed coming in to find they did not have what I "wanted" on the menu, what I ordered was great, just keep in mind to check the menu before you go.I really enjoyed doing the Chef's Mercy, which is a prefix menu that is chefs choice, just remember to state the things that you don't really want, such as soap, er cilantro for me.I love that this place is small, and right on Grand so that you can walk around after your meal.I can say that at this price point, I would expect the service to be a bit better, but ultimately we came for the food, which was delicious.I would have to add, that while it was nice to have the "live music", during one of our visits we were seated very close, and it was loud enough that we could not really have a conversation at our table, but again, food... great!

Adorable little place in downtown Escondido in the old Vincents location. Totally a vibe!The menu changes often so you can go back many times and feel like you're trying something new! We went for a special occasion and got lovely service even from one of the owners herself. Sweet people!Cocktails and all dishes were in point and delicious! Looking forward to visiting again!

We went for our valentines's Dinner! Food was savory and delicious. We had the manzanilla salad (amazing) and lamb shank which fell off the bone.The service was great - they are awesome!The ambiance is upscale but with a French/old school vibe, Would recommend!

We found Hunsaker's randomly on our hunt for a good old fashioned and couldn't be happier with our visit! We were feeling adventurous and chose the 3 course Chef's Mercy menu option, which we were told would be 3 surprise dishes. Our dinner was delicious, and beautifully prepared! The service was outstanding in a great setting as well...and the old fashioned was delightful! Glad to have found this special date night spot close to home!

This place is simply amazing... the food was the best that I have had I quite a while. We couldn't decide on which dessert, so we ordered all of them... :)

Phenomenal hidden gem. Food was super experimental and delicious while still hitting all the comfort food notes. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will be back. Portion sizes are huge! Highly recommend sharing or planning for leftovers. Street parking is easy to access.

I experienced the tasting fights and it was amazing. Every bite was delicious. I was totally full after the 3rd round and couldn't stop eating.

This place is one of the priciest but most delicious places on Grand! Totally worth the $$Our server was super rad and had recommendations for drinks, started me off with a cabana boy and finished with porns star ( drink names) , would recommend both drinks, my husband got an old fashioned and I swear I grew hair on my chest just looking at it! (Strong but delicious) We sat outside and the vibes were warm ( literally) ate here in JULY. But also looks like we were eating in Alice in wonderlands garden and had killer decor! We ordered the bone marrow which is to die for and split a steak Mac n cheese. We will be coming back to try another group of things on their menu but will for sure order the bone marrow every time. At the end the server gave us his server book and we got to write a message to him! This place is so cute and the staff is very friendly

Came in for dinner on a Friday night, service was very personable and friendly, menu was small but well balanced and the food was delicious. The restaurant is small but cozy with comfortable seats and colorful couches.
