Hunnie Butter

After seeing Instagram post... I stopped in. It's right down the street from me. This spot has been many things.. and I'm so happy to see a Bakery! Well not just a Bakery... a delightful space and yummy treats!! We were greeted with a wonderful hello and offered samples!! The lovely lady explained everything available in the case and the different slices of cake. Where do we start??? We bought a snickerdoodle cookie... and chocolate Carmel bar....2 pineapple cheesecake cupcakes , a strawberry shortcake slice and a lemon pound cake slice! Let me tell you... I can't even say what was the favorite amongst all of them. All so fresh and delicious!! I can't wait to return!!

I was really excited to stop in and check out Hunnie Butter! This is a husband and wife owned business and they make everything from scratch. The wife was baking away and the husband was running the front of the house. He patiently went through ALL of their items in the case to explain what each was. I got 2 cupcakes and 3 different pound cakes, pineapple coconut, sock it to me and a peach cobbler. All were really great but my favorite was the pineapple coconut! They were all packed with flavor and not dry at all. I'll be back soon!

This place is AMAZING! I found out about them on Instagram and finally tried them out today (: The owner is very good about updating on what she has available and new things she puts out each week on Insta! We tried the carrot cake, pineapple coconut cake, strawberry cheesecake cupcake, and the strawberry banana pudding. All were exceptional! The textures on the strawberry cheesecake were so good, which set it apart for me. The crunchy crust and crunchies on top were so good. (: My boyfriend said that the banana pudding was the BEST he's ever had. (Please excuse the bites taken out of the pudding. I tried to snap a pic beforehand but he was too excited. Rightfully so, it was bomb!) The pineapple coconut is a flavor they said they wouldn't have next week, so they encouraged us to try it! So glad we did. Not a flavor I would think to try first, but man. If they have it, don't miss out!! (: The coconut is finely shaved (more so than what I'm used to which made for a nice texture!) and the icing went crazy. Carrot cake was super moist but not overly heavy. The crumb of each cake is the perfect consistency. I don't even like carrot cake, but this one changed my mind. Flavor and texture were fantastic. Service was impeccable. The gentleman that helped us was so patient and explained every single thing in the case and was happy to make recommendations and suggestions. Super nice! The space was a smidge hard for us to locate but that's because we parked in the back and didn't walk to the right side. The cake decorations and vibe inside is so so cute!

It's ALL 5/5 with this place! One of the TOP dessert spots in all of AZ. You won't be disappointed!

From the moment you unwrap the Sweet Potato Praline Caramel Cheesecake Cupcake, you know you're in for something special. This delightful creation from a talented married couple's bakery is the epitome of culinary artistry.

My husband stopped here late this afternoon, shortly before close. We were worried maybe they'd be sold out but they had plenty of options left! He got us a snickerdoodle, chocolate chip (had milk chocolate chips and semisweet), a brownie without nuts, and a funfetti cupcake. Everything was really rich and delicious. My favorite was the brownie, more crisp on the outside, but fudgy and chocolatey on the inside, yum! Would totally come here again.

Amazing bakery, amazing customer service and great location. I kept running into their page on IG and figured the Cake Gods were giving me a sign. Went in today and was not disappointed. The slices can be on the slightly pricer end of a cake but it's a husband/wife operation and ALL baked good are cooked from scratch , all naturale. 25/10 recommend!!

Such a little gem! They opened up at the end of last year, and I only heard about it till now due to an Instagram post from a local AZ foodie. This little bakery is not only super adorable, well priced, and well kept, but the owners, husband and wife, are incredibly nice (follow their instagram, they post lots of reels of the daily bakery life and menu selections).I can't wait to come back. They make their banana pudding cups ($7-8 for a huge cup size!) to order and you can either get it with or without their homemade caramel size. In my opinion, just splurge! Get it with the caramel and you won't regret it! In addition tot he pudding, I also tried a slice of their peach cobbler pound cake. If you take this to go, make sure to zap it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Nothing better than a nice warm slice of pound cake soaking up all that drizzle layered on top. Delish and can't wait to come back!

This was our first time here. The owner greeted us with a smile and was just so personable. I got a little bit of everything- toffee mama cookie, snickerdoodle cookie, peach cobbler pound cake, sweet potato praline cheesecake, strawberry shorty, and lemon cheesecake. Nothing I've tasted so far is overly sweet and everything is AMAZING! No complaints at all. The store was really clean AND they have the cutest play area for kids that my little ones enjoyed. That warmed my little mama heart for real. Keep doing what you're doing! It's amazing!

Hands down the best bakery in Arizona. I travel 30 miles just to get their goodies for myself and for gifts to friends and family. The sweetest people as well! Cannot recommend this bakery more. The Blue Magic cake is INCREDIBLE!!
