Restaurant with delicious food and a beautiful view! And the service was great! We had the pleasure of staying at the Humphrey's Half Moon Inn, and it was so nice to have this lovely restaurant, just steps away from our room.

Service was very nice, ambiance beautiful venue if you're near a window to look outside the ocean with the boats.Food was not good and pricey. I was hoping after 20 years they would've improved for their own reputations sake but I don't think they really care since it's mostly a tourist venue. The only reason I went for dinner is because I had dinner and show package that my friends couldn't use .I was hoping for the best but unfortunately I was not very happy with the food. I really wanted to. I was happy when I received my ribeye It was a very nice presentation. There was a mushroom sauce on top which I feel it should be on the side that's my fault. I should have asked to put on the side The sides that accompanied my ribeye was this brown garlic, mashed potatoes, and unappetizing looking asparagus, ribeye was almost too salty. I feel that food should not be overly salted. I can always add salt if I need it.My friend Ordered the ricotta gnocchi and she said it was like chewing on plastic, and it just sat in her stomach all night long. The dessert was nothing to rave about, and the salad was minuscule with a sour dressing. Humphreys, please improve your food. I love you restaurant but not the food :(

Upon entering the quaint little breakfast joint at 9:30 in the morning, my anticipation was high. The sun streamed through the large windows, casting a warm glow on the handful of occupied tables. The air hummed with the promise of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon. Little did I know that this seemingly charming establishment would soon leave me with a bitter taste in my mouth. The Wait: A Test of PatienceAs we settled into our seats, the aroma of coffee beans and toasted bread enveloped us. The menu boasted an array of breakfast delights--fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and omelets bursting with colorful veggies. Our hunger piqued, we placed our orders and leaned back, expecting a delightful morning feast.Minutes turned into half an hour, and still, no plates arrived. The once cheerful chatter of fellow diners faded into a collective grumble. Glancing around, I noticed that the tables adjacent to ours suffered the same fate. Their occupants exchanged puzzled glances, their stomachs growling in protest. The Vanishing Act: Where's the Food? Our server, a harried young man with a notepad clutched tightly, scurried between the kitchen and the dining area. Each time he emerged, his expression grew more apologetic. "Just a few more minutes," he assured us, but the minutes stretched into eternity. The tantalizing scent of sizzling bacon teased our senses, yet our plates remained empty.Three tables behind us mirrored our plight. Their occupants--families, couples, and solo diners--fidgeted, their patience waning. The promise of a hearty breakfast slipped through our fingers like sand. The Verdict: A Sour NoteFinally, after an agonizing wait, our server approached, his eyes downcast. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, "but the kitchen is overwhelmed." Overwhelmed? Understatement of the year. We rose from our seats, our hunger unsatisfied, and walked out into the bright morning. The sun mocked us as we vowed never to return. Conclusion: A Missed OpportunityIn the end, I can't tell you if the food was good or bad because we were never served. The potential for a delightful breakfast lay hidden behind the kitchen doors, lost in chaos and inefficiency. Perhaps the chef's culinary magic would have dazzled us, had it ever graced our table. Alas, we'll never know. As for returning? Not a chance. The memory of those empty plates and wasted minutes lingers--a stark reminder that even the most promising establishments can falter.

Advice if you are staying at the hotel and you order take-out from here; don't do it! $30+ for a small fish that looks like it was run over, served on neon yellow rice with canned mandarin oranges thrown around it. It was literally so disgusting we didn't even want to taste it. If the food was gross, that's one thing, but whoever the manager is needs some additional training on how to speak to customers. When we called back to say the food was gross, we were told the restaurant had now closed until around 4pm and they wouldn't be able to make me anything else. So it makes sense someone boxed up some leftover fish for us knowing that they were going on their break at 2pm. The 'manager' or whoever was on the phone was incompetent. "That's one of our most popular dishes!" he said to me on the phone. Do you think I care? When my partner took it to him, he opened it up and said, "Oh it's because they put the sauce on the side" no, no it's not. It's because it looks like pre-chewed baby food. He could barely refund the money to us. Absolutely no real apology. He did nothing to make up for the fact that we had to walk multiple times back and forth from our room to the restaurant because of their mistake. He didn't even say sorry that the place was closed and I now had to leave the hotel to get any kind of lunch. Not having room service is one thing, but having this be the quality of the on-site restaurant? This was a huge disappointment that no view of the water can make up for.

We had a special party of 26 family members to celebrate our loving Aunt's birthday. We had the special semi private dining area on the side. Robert and Mona were our servers. They were kind, attentive and friendly. It was havoc at times with everyone asking for spirit beverages but they handled the crowd with such grace. lol The meals were all delicious and the presentation was flawless. Dessert was yummy as well. The only thing I would change on the menu is the fish entree needed vegetables, not a whole bunch of rice. lol When I mention " semi- private" you can hear the band playing so at times it was difficult to hear family giving their personal toast to my Aunt. Anyway, was a great experience, everyone was happy and it was a memorable celebration!!!

Cool vibes and lit 80s concert. I tried their wild mushroom soup with dinner rolls. The soup was rich and creamy. There was a long line for the concert and no fee since we dined here, else it would be $12 charge.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the lunch offerings for our company special occasion. The service was great, and the ambience is nice. However, the food quality was not what we expected for Humphrey's by the Bay... The bisque was bland, the fish in the fish-and-chips were little overcooked "nuggets", and the steak bites were dry and tasteless. I heard the chicken sandwich wasn't good either from more than one colleague. The brightest point was the wine and the frequency of pours.

Came here for dinner because it had quite a good number of reviews and did not have the best experience. Got here at around 8:40 and the kitchen was supposed to close at 9:00, So I guess it was pretty late but the service was not quick and food was not all available.I really wanted to get that roasted half chicken but they said they were all out.Husband and I both ended up getting the Macadamia Crusted Halibut - one with the saffron rice and another with broccolini that would have been on the chicken.Fish itself was exceptional! Perfectly cook and flavorful (I had a bad experience with halibut at a different restaurant where the fish was completely bland and tasteless, but this was not so!)Crunch from the macadamia crust was just right. And really good flavor.saffron scented basmati rice on the side was really soft and delicate. Perfectly fluffy and flavorful even on its own. orange-mirin beurre blanc was lovely. It had a nice flavor and went really well with the halibut and the rice. Good quantity of the sauce as well.Broccolini was perfectly tender and quite a good portion size!Overall the Food was good but the service was so so slow! The restaurant barely had five tables occupied but who took easily over 20-25 minutes to come out. Finally came out after we called the server and asked why it was taking so long.Ambiance was very quiet even though it was aesthetic. It seemed a little empty though. Maybe it's because we were there so late. The venue just next to us on the other side of the wall had music playing and seemed like It had a good vibe going. Maybe that's the place to check out next time!!

In summary - Elegant, Classy, Upscale, restaurant. Bay front. Romanic for an intimate date night. I imagine it would also be a beautiful spot for sunset given the tall surrounding windows. But the view at night is pretty nice as well; right on the water.I had a unique experience where we had the whole restaurant to ourselves that night. Service was on par and checked on us regularly. The atmosphere reminds me of a wedding hall, high ceilings, and tall windows. Great for an intimate dinner date or celebrating a special occasion (anniversary or date night). We both ended up ordering the lobster risotto. I'm not a huge risotto/ pasta fan, but it had the perfect amount of sauce; it was flavorful but not too saucey. And you got just enough pieces of lobster! There is a free parking lot right in front of the restaurant, but it was super compact parking! I was able to park, but it took a few tries (I have a mini suv for reference).
