Humphreys La Jolla Grill

Great service and an excellent breakfast to start the day in La Jolla and San Diego. Very filling and generous portions. Didn't get pictures of everything but pancakes were large and three to the order. The two egg order came with choice of meat, potatoes and toast.

I was one of the few hotel guests that dined in for breakfast. It's a spacious restaurant but a bit outdated. I had no expectation when walking in, but the breakfast did amaze me. I requested for a side fruit for my oatmeal, the server was kind to provide it. The berries were so fresh. The oatmeal came in a large bowl, so I wasn't able to eat my avocado toast. I packed it to go. I was concerned the avocado was going to oxidize and turn brown, but it didn't due to the lemon added. I eventually enjoyed the avocado toast for lunch and it's one of the best toasts I've had in a long time!

Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Walked in here after slow service from Shooters. This place was clean and staff was attentive. Food was cooked well, bread was very good, and drinks were perfect. Restaurant is spendy, group of 3 cost $158 but the seafood and prime rib was cooked perfectly. Will return here next time in town.

They have embraced the rulings very nicely, they act like this is the normal. Everyone is wearing mask, food is available for pick up with dining on the patio. Limited menu but nice selections. Breakfast is a classic eggs, bacon or sausage your choice of toast including white, rye or sourdough. They serve Starbucks Coffee. You can also order a yogurt parfait or avocado toast.The have nice smooth jazz playing which adds a nice touch.They are open for dinner as well with limited menu.

We had a very pleasant experience at Humphrey's. Initially decided to come here because we are passport dining members and had an offer for a free entree with purchase of a first entree.We called an hour before to make reservations for 8pm on a Saturday. Upon arriving we realized we probably didn't need reservations as the place was half empty. The restaurant is located inside Sheraton hotel, but there was a sign outside so we had no issues being directed to the right place after parking (which they validate).We were seated right away and given menus. The vibe is classy and romantic. The host as well as our waiter was very courteous and professional the entire time. We were served complimentary bread and butter which came with three types of bread, all delicious. We got the ahi poke appetizer which did not disappoint. There was a generous amount of fish surrounded by cucumber slices, which made for a very tasty and refreshing dish. For entrees I ordered the shrimp risotto and fiancé got the seared scallops. Both were great dishes in terms of taste, quality, and presentation. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food, atmosphere of restaurant, and the service. Nice spot for a date night!

I came to Humphrey's for dinner. We wanted to go fancy tonight since it's New Year's Eve. We were greeted by the manager who was extremely nice. She told me if we had any questions or concerns to let her know. We didn't have reservations but we got seated right away. We got seated at a table. The lighting was dim and cozy. The waiter gave us complimentary bread. I ordered an iced tea to drink. For my main course, I got the lobster ravioli. It was creamy sauce surrounding ravioli filled with cheese. Lobster tails topped the ravioli. It was delicious and filling for me since I ate the bread. Everything was delicious. Service was great by our friendly waiter. He made sure we were taken care of. He even brought me some sugar for my tea. Very thoughtful but the tea was perfect alone. I still added some Splenda. I definitely enjoyed my dining experience here. There's street parking because inside is only parking for the people staying at the hotel. I was lucky to find a spot.

Great service and the beet salad and chicken piccata I'm was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend! Hubby had awesome burger, very nice atmosphere

Humphreys delivered a surprisingly good meal at the Sheraton La Jolla. The ambiance was more upscale (with dim lighting) than I would have expected, though everybody was dressed relatively casually. To share, we ordered the beet salad, short rib paparadelle and the shrimp risotto. The beet salad was huge and hearty. The short rib paparadelle and shrimp risotto were both very good but very rich; it probably wasn't good to order those two together since both dishes were very decadent. I hadn't been eyeing the risotto, but it was the server's favorite menu item so we ordered it based on her recommendation - we were not disappointed. The risotto was creamy and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Entrees are pricey as would be expected at a hotel. For platinum SPG members, the hotel provides discount coupons which makes the meal more affordable.

Was staying at the Sheraton and Humphreys was conveniently downstairs. Pros-Dena and Ever are morning servers were amazing! They could see we had our hands full with our toddlers. They were quick, accommodating, and super friendly!-Food was served hot and quick-Average prices and not crowded for breakfast or lunch-Offers a variety of choices and kid friendly menuCons-It seemed a little uptight in there and not very kid friendly. Luckily we just sat in the back to not be so disruptive Would visit again, especially for the morning crew!

This place we went for breakfast worth every penny we had French toast and Acia bowl amazing delicious !!
