"Beer battered" fish and chips? What a joke. This is a breadcrumb breading that was beyond burned; inedible.

The new owner has added a ton of fun new things. Tater tots, jojo's, cheese curds etc. The bakery seems to have been upgraded. Not all the pie seem like they're made from scratch although we're told that. The crusts can be a little sketchy. The chocolate muffins are incredibly dry. I believe the other two varieties are fine. The Huckleberry bread is tasty. For the most part the quality of the food and the taste is really good. They're definitely times the fish can be overcooked but I've never had a problem with having it redone without arguments or excuses. The soups are exceptional. What is up with not giving toast with an omelette anymore? Actually I would like to at least see an option to have one or two slices for a minimal cost more. I don't like paying an extra $4 for two pieces of bread.Their coffee is good, they have flavored creamers. The iced tea is crisp and clear fresh. Everyone working there is wonderful, I especially love the young kids! They're really awesome.

This a good diner type brunch spot in Burien. It appeared to be a local fave, as there was quite the crowd and a 20 min wait on a late morning Saturday. We were seated within the timeframe they quoted, and got a cozy table for two. Most of the tables were helped pretty quickly, ours was the exception. When we did get service, we jumped on ordering drinks & our breakfast. We love a good bloody mary, and this one really packed a good punch. Great flavor, pretty strong, not super crisp pickled veggies, but it worked. I would definately recommend the bloody mary.I ordered the Fractured Vegetarian Omelet. It was hearty, served with a pretty large portion of hashbrowns. It was good, nothing remarkable, but after the one-drink-buzz bloody mary, I just needed to get some food in me. I'd recommend this restaurant for a casual breakfast, if you're wanting standard breakfast fare. I did not try the huckleberry pancakes, so I'll have to come back. I can imagine that they're a favorite!

I have been wanting to come to Huckleberry Square for dinner for some some time, after a server once explained the process of the prep for the prime rib that is featured on Saturday nights. I finally made it last night, and I will stick to possibly having breakfast at Huckleberry. I want to state that the exterior holiday lights are gorgeous. Then it went downhill from there. Upon entering, the hostess wanted to seat me in a section at a small table, that is half booth and half seat. I wanted some room to spread out to read, and I asked for the booth by the window. She hesitated, and had to check to see if it okay. I'm sorry...there were 7 open booths in the area I asked for. Not sure what the challenge was.The busser was quick with my water, but it took forever for my server Dorothy to come to the table. I heard her tell another table that she was busy in the office? Really? I would think the customer and your tables are your priority. And I don't need to be called "honey" as I heard it at least three times.I wanted a cocktail before my dinner, and I saw a White Russian was mentioned on the table tent. I ordered it and it was fun, as it has been several years since I have had one. But why is it served with a LONG soda straw? The salad before meal was basic. Iceberg and shredded carrots. I ordered a 12 oz. cut of prime rib, green beans and fries. My plate was delivered after a long wait, and it had a baked potato instead of the fries. Oh well, I went ahead and just ate it. The green beans were inedible, and the prime rib had zero flavor. The horseradish sauce made it tolerable. (also, why would you place a sauce container on top of the prime rib??)Again, I may come back for breakfast, but there are many choices and I don't think this was worth a 25 minute drive. As it is well-stated, "you get what you pay for". Yes, the prime rib dinner and cocktail were inexpensive, but I will pay more for quality the next time.

Huckleberry Square is a great neighborhood brunch place for great American-style breakfast foods. On a Sunday morning at 11, we waited about 20 minutes for our table, not bad for a brunch Sunday day. Expect long wait times though as it is a popular place. The food came after about 20 minutes of ordering and was so worth the wait. Super filling and salty, perfect for a Sunday morning! The coffee was great and the server came by to refill it frequently so it was always tasting hot and fresh.I always love the cozy feeling of the place and the local photos and art on the walls. Always a go to for breakfast.

Amazing local restaurant, they have a wall where people can purchase meals in advance or donate meals to those in need. A worthy business and deserving our support. We came here after a walk around Seahurst park and we ordered the huckleberry mountain burger, ribeye steak, taco salad bowl, huckleberry pie, huckleberry mimosa and float, all good food! The place was very busy but service was prompt, our server is very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. A dog friendly restaurant too!

Been here twice in the past month and really enjoy their breakfast! Staff are friendly and great! Food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I love that they have oat milk for me to put in my coffee! A lot of restaurants don't have this option!! I came by myself the first time and this last time I brought my family that flew in from California. It was about a 30 min wait on a Saturday but worth the wait. All of our food is was delicious. They waitress made sure to check on us constantly and refill our coffees. The pancakes are huge too so all you need is 1. Or Two if you are sharing a meal. One of my new favorite spots now. This is definitely a spot that I would tell friends and family about.

Got the French toast with a side of eggs and sausage while my friend got the omelette and hash browns. All the food was so good! Big portion sizes too, I'm always really full leaving. Attentive service, they came by really often to refill our coffee. I love their syrups for their French toast, waffles and pancakes! They have four different flavors, maple, pecan, huckleberry or Marion berry. It can get really busy during breakfast/brunch times and there is a bit of a wait.

Came here with a group of friends on a Monday night, mostly on the recommendation of it being a favorite by someone in the group. I don't know if we got extremely unlucky but the experience as a whole was forgetful. After being seated it took roughly 15 minutes for a waitress to come over and take our order. She kept walking by our table - and we must've heard "I'll come back for you guys right after this," - several times as we proceeded to get passed up for other customers. It was clear they were understaffed and that she was the only person taking orders. Even asking for condiments took a long time. We asked for tapatio, and after 10 minutes got hot sauce but it was Cholula. When we got our food, one person got the wrong order. They ordered meatloaf with corn and were given pot roast with beans. We mentioned it and they brought a fresh plate out with meatloaf - but it still had beans. We cut our losses and accepted it. I personally got the philly cheese steak with onions, jalapenos and provolone. It was pretty tasty and the fries were good also. I got the huckleberry shake as well. It as ok - IMO the flavors were too subtle. Maybe I'll give this another shot in a few months. I won't be going out of my way to try it again though.

Quick to be seat and served. Coffee and apple juice came quick. Waitress took our order and food came out minutes later. Everything is delicious and hot. It's not to noisy light background music playing. Huge sausage and large portion of hash brown.

Utterly fantastic food, but if I could suggest one thing? I would make their potato soup a daily option, while making every other soup in their menu a daily supplemental option to the potato soup. Honestly, they have the best potato soup in the country. Tuesday's only. Please make it a daily event, Huckleberry!
