Huck Finn Restaurant

Classic old school restaurant. They have a.very nice diners outer as well as booths and tables. The veteran service staff was on point. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy. It was some of the best I have had in Chicagoland. The biscuits were nothing special but the gravy was on point. I also had some eggs which were good, but that is to be expected.

Food was great. A donut came with my child's food. Customer service was great. The prices are what you'd expect for a diner, very affordable. Donuts were good. Try them out!

Not pictured here but I got a side of chicken noodle soup and rolls that were so good. The croissant sandwich was amazing and the bread was not overly buttery. The server was nice and attentive. For a Monday nothing, it was a little busy but nothing worth complaining over. We were seated very quickly.

Diner food. Always a hit.My hubby had a Denver omelette with cheese. I had a belt.Both simple, tasty, and as expected. Waitress even surprised my toddler with a donut

I stopped by to try the donuts. I have passed each one and I finally got enough time to be able to stop. They have a variety of donuts available. I got a bakers dozen, which included Boston Creams, Red Velvet, Cake, Old Fashioned, Coconut, Glazed, and multiple more. I also got their cinnamon roll. Granted it was later in the day, but I found that all the ones I had were dry and left your mouth with a film or dryness. They weren't bad, just dry. The cinnamon tool lacked enough icing. The service deserves 5 stars, they were very friendly and made it a very enjoyable experience. They were willing to explain anything and it was great working with them. I did not know before walking in that it was also a restaurant. I didn't get a chance to try any of the restaurants food, but it looked comfortable. I would like to visit again in the future!

The food and service is outstanding. It is a tribute to dinners of old. Price is very reasonable. It will be a must go to when I am in Chicago.

*The stars are for the donuts*I have only been here for the donuts, especially for the Alaskan donut. I have order that gargantuan thing twice already! To be honest, $10 for that thing is not terrible and it can come in a 50/50 split of glazed and chocolate icing.However, I love me a good monte cristo, which is basically 2 slices of french toast with meat and cheese in the middle. I ordered 3 monte cristos this time, and for $10, there are better monte critstos out there. Their french toast were smaller and not very fluffy. I didn't taste any maple syrup, and there wasn't much flavor outside of the meat and cheese.7/10 for donuts.

Had a very nice experience here,was treated very well. Staff was very kind, and attentive. Will most surely patronize this establishment in the future. Great food.

Always a great experience when coming here. I tried the buffalo wings here for the first time and I can truly say that I will no longer go to Buffalo Wild Wings or Wings Stop. The wings were super crispy and cooked well, very delicious!They don't have chicken and waffles on the menu, but we sure did make it becase we were craving it! Would be a good option to add to the menu

This place is always great ! The huck burger is one of the best in chicago. Dennys lost my business to this place . Its just so delicious and the service is extraordinary.
