Three words- FLASHBACK- What a surprise when we walked into this cocktail bar. So many fun nostalgic things to look at. Pictures, murals, music! The cocktails were delicious and creatively named. I mean there's a drink named after David Hasselhoff!!! DETAILS- the glassware was so original and catered to each drink. The garnishes were lovely. Sparkly hearts, straws shaped like hearts etc. the velvet paintings!! So much to look at and point out. MONKEES- sooo I loved the MONKEES! And there's a drink named after Davie Jones- Hubba Hubba !!! Talk about bringing me back to my childhood. (Be sure to use the bathroom- more nostalgia that you cannot miss).

I loved this spot! Saved it on Yelp months ago and decided to go back, so happy I did. So eclectic and fun. Lots of 80s and movies decor. They have comedy and karaoke. One bartender and he was very nice and personable, helped make a custom drink a little less sweet than my prior one. No food (maybe snacks, unsure) but this is such a cool hang without it.

The decor in this place is unmatched - there's a lot to look at and appreciate. I didn't personally get a drink, but my friends did and they said the bartender was under the influence of some kind. I only put 4 stars because I am concerned that the bartender was the only staff member the night we were there. That just seems so unsafe and concerning.

My drink was good! And served in a fun fish glass. I got the swayze crazy from the signature menu. There are no prices on the menu, but my drink was $14 and so was my friends painkiller off the classics menu. This place has a dive bar vibe. It had a noticeable smell throughout. The bartender was friendly. Bathrooms were dirty and did not have soap or toilet paper. I don't think I'll be back.

How do you have tiki in your name and need to look up the recipe for a mai tai? Absolutely terrible tiki experience.

It's a bold thing to launch a tiki bar a mile from 2 preexisting award winning tiki bars but Hubba Hubba is nothing if not bold. With a decor and ambience that draws equally from Universal Monster Movies and Baywatch the vibes are built for pop culture geeks (and for fellow Tennesseans eerily reminiscent of Aretha Frankenstein's). The buildout is small and lends itself to date nights and the post-work drink rather than parties, something other tiki bars in this town lack. The drink menu is condensed and well curated, (and of course named solely after 80's actors) I recommend the William Frances Tanner if you like a coffee forward cocktail or if like me you're a mezcal nerd perhaps the mezcal pina colada riff under the name of David Hasselhoff. In a time where Nashville is steadily losing its uniqueness it's nice to have a new joint that celebrates the weird. Glad to have Hubba Hubba join my neighborhood roster.

I tried the new bar, Hubba Hubba Tiki Tonk. It's located next door to No Quarter. I'm not fully sure how I feel about it yet. The decor is cool in that it's really 80s and a blast to the past. It's a divey-feel, which I enjoyed. It's not Dino's type divey, but it's definitely its own vibe. As far as the drinks we experienced, we were a bit underwhelmed. The names of the drinks are fun, but you're paying $14+ for a drink with a LOT of ice. I would have liked it to have more of the drink and less of the ice that watered it down quickly. The bartender was cool. He gave me a birthday shot and was really hospitable with the guests he served. His personality shined through as he conversed with his patrons.Being brand new, I understand that it will take time to come into its own. I look forward to seeing how that goes and do plan to return.

This bar was amazing. On my trip to Nashville this was the first car that I visited on Tuesday and Wednesdays they have karaoke the ambience is so much fun very eclectic with lots of horror and 90s and 80s nostalgia all over the walls. I love they were the decorated for tiki! The service was amazing when it was dead, the bartenders are really fun, I definitely recommend coming back here, especially on a Tuesday or Wednesday when you can do karaoke.

Great spot to grab a good drink. It was pretty dead when we got there which is just what we were looking for. Lots of what seemed like regulars hung out there. The bartenders were nice and we got to witness karaoke which seemed to have everyone in high spirits.

Come for the black velvet. Stay for the date rape drugs. This was my favorite spot in Nashville until last Friday, when my partner and I went. It was a blast until she got her drink roofied by a dude she'd been singing karaoke with and the staff/bouncer didn't do shit... oh wait! They did, actually! They threw us out as the guy tried to fight me. Because hey, he's a regular.Don't let the cool vibes fool you, there are creeps about. Keep your wits about you.
