Overall rating: 4.5/5Wait: 4.5/5Arrival time: Saturday 12pmFood: 5/5Order: carne asada taco, chicharon taco, pescado taco, elote, ceviche Service: 4/5Price: 4/5Definitely coming backHuarachis Taqueria is a culinary gem that serves up a fiesta of flavors with every bite. The carne asada taco is a masterpiece of tender, juicy meat, while the chicharon taco is a crunchy delight that dances on the palate. The pescado taco offers a fresh oceanic twist, and the elote is a charred, creamy concoction that's simply irresistible. The ceviche, paired with light and airy tortilla chips, is a refreshing symphony of citrus and seafood. It's no wonder this place is heralded as Bacanora's sister restaurant; the quality and passion in the cooking are palpable. With attentive service and fair pricing, Huarachis Taqueria is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience. Definitely coming back for another round of their culinary delights!

We met some friends for a birthday celebration. They had eaten at Huarachis once before, but this was our first time. We started with the tortillas & butter as well as the frijol dip. Both appetizers were outstanding! I tried three tacos: carne asada, pescado, and crispy papa. I took a piece of my husband's chicharron taco as well. All the tacos were very good but I would have loved some salsa to accompany them.My first drink was Jesse's Margarita. It was fantastic and very citrus-forward. My second drink was the Magia, and the licorice flavor from the absinthe was a bit much for my taste. The atmosphere is lively and bustling. Everything is intentional and specially curated to create the vibe they are going for. Our server was on top of things even though it was a busy Saturday night. She kept our waters full, and the cocktails flowing.

Came again and was kind of let down. Drinks just need work, they are way too expensive given what's offered in the area and mine had more ice than liquor. It wasn't balanced either. The flour tortillas that come in every taco also need work. They are way too thick, and hard to chew, which makes the tacos just fall apart and therefore challenging to eat. The carne is still relatively flavorless especially when you can walk at any taco place across the street and it will be 10x better. I really want to like this place, but they haven't improved since opening. It's just not worth the price.

Food here is absolutely horrible.Drinks disappointing. Service is non existent. It's more of a "instagram restaurant" no real substance here !Other restaurants to choose from.

We came to Huarachis to celebrate a birthday dinner and had a great time. We got the carnitas platter which was delicious -- it was a ton of food for two, in fact, we saw another table splitting it four ways. The platter was a great way to sample a little bit of everything. The restaurant was very loud, which could be a pro or a con depending on the vibe you're looking for. It was lively and a fun taqueria experience, but not a great place to have much dinner conversation.

Literally love this place from the vibes, drinks, and food. Everything here is soooo good! I've been a handful of times. I've gotten the pollo asada plate, carne asada fries, asada taco and papa taco. I also had the quesadilla woth the frijole dip and it was alll so so good. 10/10 def recommend. Service is always great and food comes out so fast.

Awesome spot in Downtown Phoenix for tacos + more! To start, the ambiance is very cool. Pink lights, funky decorations and bumping music makes it a super trendy spot. You can tell they paid attention to details in the space. Service wise things were standard. Went in during a first friday around 6PM and only had to wait a few minutes for a table of 5 (no reservation) which I was pleasantly surprised by. Food came promptly and waiter was attentive. Food was outstanding. Tried a variety of tacos, margaritas, papas al discos, and the bacanora beans. This is the perfect spot to go to if you want Bacanora quality flavor without dealing with the tricky reservation. Favorites included the papas al disco (must try) and the pescado taco. Tacos were on the pricier side, but were quite large + full with toppings-checks out for a trendy spot in downtown. Looking forward on returning and next time hope to try the huge pollo asado platter + more cocktails!

This might be controversial but I actually liked this place more than Bacanora. Don't get me wrong both are great but I think going to this place was an easier experience. Getting a reservation at Bacanora is hard whereas here you can get the same tasty food without the struggle lol. I had the carne asada tacos and they were sooo good. The best asada tacos I've had. Surprisingly they put beans on it and I usually don't like beans but the flavor was so amazing that I don't mind it. The papas were also good but beware they are a lil spicy. For dessert we had arroz con leche and also delicious. I came with a group of 3 on a Friday night and we waited a little bit for a table but nothing outrageous. I don't drink but they have interesting cocktails. I definitely want to come back and bring my friends from out of state here.

Met up for a work lunch and it was our first time trying it out here. Food was very good, and service was also however this is absolutely not a place to go and talk which is very disappointing to me. Food is designed to hangout and have conversations with others around a common thing which is the delicious meal. The music was so loud we could barely carry a conversation, and I suppose if I knew that I may have had a different expectation but when it comes to food I don't like feeling like I'm at the club. If I want to dance and have a good time and talk very little there are plenty of places for that. Restaurants shouldn't be that place. Food was great though definitely recommend get it to go and enjoy elsewhere

My friends and I were walking around town and tasting a few things from different restaurants and bars, and decided to stop by Huarachis. We arrived @ 6pm and the restaurant tables were all full but they quickly sat us at the bar. They waited us relatively fast and the food was served within minutes. We ordered 3 asada tacos, 1 tripa, and 1 lengua.Asada: 5/5 - it's a really well done carne asada. Well seasoned, well grilled, overall great taste.Tripa: 4/5 - I wasn't expecting the tripa to be as crunchy as it was. It was pretty much tripa chicharrones. I'm not complaining, but it was unexpected. The flavor was pretty solid, but I think if it was just slightly less fried the tripa flavor with their salsas would be a million times better.Lengua: 3/5 - The lengua taco wasn't bad, but it was just kind of bland. Cooked to perfection, but flavor wise, there just wasn't much there. To conclude, I think this is a great carne asada taco spot considering you're down to drop $6 per taco. I think that's pretty high considering other comparable taco spots in downtown that have tacos for $2.50-3.50 and are also pretty great. But don't let this sway you away from trying this spot! Even if you think it's expensive, I suggest you give it at least one try, the asada won't disappoint.
