House of Pho

This place is under new management we've been eating here before they transitioned managers? This is my sister go to pho spot and honestly its pretty good, we usually get the shrimp pho, and for sides we order the fried shrimp. The house special fried rice portion is enough for two people. The place is small but they always got good enjoyable music.

The noodles of my P1. House Special Pho. Is different than the usual pho that I'm expecting. We ordered for delivery cause we have no time to cook. But I guess we have no choice. I'm disappointed. Plus the fried chicken is burnt.

This is my new favorite pho spot! They have amazing options for vegetarians and I always love getting their tofu spring rolls and vegetable egg rolls. My go-to pho is also the tofu pho with veggie broth. They always give me a generous portion of tofu and noodles. Highly recommend if you are craving some delicious Vietnamese food.

stopped by this joint bc i wanted to try out pho in another city other than la jolla (don't go there for viet food btw... not worth)i got the pho dac biet nho and was slightly more satisfied w it than what i've alr had in sd. i was surprised bc i didn't get cold water or veggies and herbs on the side-- but maybe they're only served if you ask for it. the portion was pretty small but i think it was perfect for me-- a handful of hu tieu, three slices each of slightly chewy tai (sliced rare beef) and nam (brisket), some pretty fresh sach (tripe), and a bo vien (beefball) sliced in half. oh and a small yummy slice of a gelatinous cut of meat-- don't quote me but it might've been ngau pin.broth was just a tad too lukewarm for me after abt 2 min of it being on the table, and the tai had a bit of trouble cooking all the way. however, the broth is decent and didn't rlly make me thirsty (unlike other broths tht may have too much salt).service was nice, and the place was small but clean.

We had dinner here today and ordered the large Pho (P10) from their menu, a n order of shrimp spring rolls, and a pork banh mi.This place must have changed owners because the food was nothing like the first time we ate here a few years ago when this place was new. The pho used to be very good but now the broth does not taste good at all! very bland just like dishwater , the banh mi ? It should be called ban meh ... laking in any flavor whatsoever.. and the spring rolls are nothing to write home about! The most underwhelming Vietnamese place I've been to...Waste of money. There were many other options as far as Pho places and we had the misfortune to choose this one. I'm really surprised they are still in business and if they even have repeat customers. I still tipped the server coz it wasn't her fault the food sucked big time. I reluctantly gave it one star or else Yelp won't let me post my review :(

The pho here is pretty good! Surprisingly, our favorite thing to order is the fried tofu (with extra garlic please)! The tofu is soft, and the sauce they give you compliments the tofu so well.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. I've been coming to this restaurant ever since the new management. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order, I am always delighted with my meal! The egg rolls, spring rolls, and Pho is to die for. I recommend to everyone!

My favorite pho place in San Diego ,food is always great,comes out quickly and the server is always very polite,would recommend it to anybody looking for a great pho place

My husband and I love it here when we're in National City. We love the house fried rice. My favorite is the shrimp egg rolls hot when served. Love the pork sandwich. The pho soup is amazing! Customer service is fast and nice people.

We ordered take out. Order was spot on and fast. Broth for the pho was amazing. We also ordered the fried shrimp, shrimp spring rolls, sesame balls chicken bahn (sandwich). We were a group of 5 and we were all very happy. Give this place a try.
