We drove to Nashville to try House of Kabob. Having lived in Persia, I crave some of the foods I enjoyed there. The restaurant is easy to find with a good size parking lot. Inside it is brightly lit, clean and there are a lot of booths and tables. We were seated quickly, handed menus and our drink orders taken. A server came by with a plate with pitas cut up and a second plate that had cilantro, 2 small pieces of feta cheese and two pats of butter. In Iran chives, sliced radishes and walnuts would have been included. We ordered lamb shanks with green rice, Kubideh (ground beef), ground chicken kabobs and grilled chicken kabobs. The lamb shanks were served with green rice that had dill to turn it green and baby lima beans mixed in with a broiled tomato. The ground beef meat kabobs were served with basmati rice and broiled tomato. The ground chicken and grilled chicken kabobs were served with basmati rice and Shirazi salad. I noticed the rice had a salty taste and so did the kabobs. The lamb shanks were not too salty. The lamb shanks were good but not great. The kabobs were good but salty. The Shirazi salad didn't taste authentic and was not good. I struggle with the rating. Due to the foods being salty and the Shirazi salad not tasting authentic, I chose 3 stars. I will return again to try the foods again. Their business is busy and it could be I came on an off day.

We always have great service. Not hard to bring a party of 15+. Salads and Lamb (especially chops) are delicious. We have been several times and usually finish with a Turkish coffee. They have changed the way they male it a bit and it can come a but burnt but still good enough to drink or they will replace.

Delicious food and reasonably priced, although the koobideh kabob does not have the right flavor and tastes more like hamburger meat. Lambchops are great.

Have you ever wanted a yellow kebbeh? Like flat circled yellow fried things called kebbeh! Yeah they have em here, and they call em kebbah, wtf bro, they need to google that stuff. The hummus, is terrible.now remember this is a Kurdish restaurant, so originally kebbeh and hummus is not actually there thing. So i get it. The chicken, lamb, beef, and rice is good! Like good marinate, cooked well, and taste good. Ambiance is a bit sad honestly, more specifically depressing, like legit mood shift. But as long as the chicken taste good, mood ll balance. It's clean, most people who work there are Muslim immigrants, which this is a great stereotype, but they are clean, like pretty fucking clean.

Awesome food for an affordable price. Pita with cilantro, feta, and butter come as a starter for every meal. The pita was warm and went really well with the condiments provided! For the main dish, I got a the Kubideh plate, which came with two beef kabobs, a bunch of rice, and a grilled tomato. Everything was delicious, but the grilled tomato was really the underdog that rose because it ended up being such a staple to the dish, adding a bit of savory acidity to the meat and rice. Large portion sizes, too; I came for dinner and still had half for leftovers.Really friendly and fast service too! Think I was in and out in ~30 min!

We ordered falafel for appetizer, which was the closest one to an authentic Mediterranean falafel we ever had in US! We ordered Koobideh and Lamb Shank which comes with rice and Shirazi salad, and lamb chops which comes with mast o khiar and rice. The food quality was good overall. There were many sitings and fast service which was really nice. The vibe of the restaurant was really cool too, very Middle Eastern.

I had the chicken and salmon kabob, Bon had the beef kabob with lamb shank. We shared hummus and flatbread. The chicken was very well prepared and juicy. I was hesitant to order the salmon but the server said it was one of their most popular dishes. I was rather disappointed when I first tasted it, but found that it was better when I stuck to the center pieces after giving them some time to cool down. Bon enjoyed the beef kabob, but the lamb shank was meh, as was the hummus. I'm pretty sure they use Toufayan brand flatbread, so if you like that brand, you're good.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Nashville. Great quality food, the lamb shank and beef/chicken kabob are our favorite! The prices are also very reasonable.
