I was in town for a week and was looking for a highly rated Indian restaurant. I went with the top pick in House of India and it was great. The staff was attentive, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was awesome. I'm pretty basic with Indian food so ordered the chicken tikka masala both times I went. A very generous serving of rice, a good amount of meat and the naan bread is sliced into several pieces. The food was excellent When I'm in town again I will be coming here 100%

Given our love for Indian cuisine and rave reviews, we were excited to try this place. As frequent visitors to London with a strong appreciation for authentic Indian food, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed.The food was bland overall, and the tikka masala and butter chicken were indistinguishable. The portions were sauce heavy with minimal meat. The dal was inedible, and while the naan was acceptable, the samosas were dry and accompanied by a terrible sauce. We won't be returning.

Good and friendly service, but my colleague and I did not enjoy the food too much. I got the lamb rogan Josh and she got some goat dish, along with chili chicken as an app. Chili chicken was over cooked and didn't have a punch. Lamb in the rogan Josh was tender, but the curry itself didn't have a deep flavor you expect from a lamb dish. The goat dish was better than the lamb, but also looked like they added tons of food coloring to it.I'm Indian so I'm probably biased, but unfortunately not my cup of tea. Ambiance was nice though with the decorations and music.

The buffet has everything you could want and the service is excellent. One of my favorite things here is the chai tea that is on the buffet service for dine-in patrons. I've had better rice at Indian restaurants but that may just be a personal preference. The restaurant is clean and atmosphere is classy, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in Franklin so I go often.

Once again - Above and beyond expectations for this gem in the Franklin / Brentwood areas.Ambiance -Traditional indian (but with Linens on the table) and a lot of traditional decorations with some light music in the background making it very quaint and comfortable.Service-Top notch - from the greeting at the door, to being seated right away, and everyone is always anting to make sure you have an amazing experience here. Food-Again, Top notch. From the appetizers and dipping sauces to the main dishes. I have the Chicken Tikka (dry) and my wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala (the sauce is to die for)....Both are excellent and favorite meals here most eery time we visit. The garlin nann is also amazing. Everything about House of India on the menu I am sure stands out...next time Butter Chicken!I also had a King Chakra beer and it was a very good lager and typically I'm only an IPA snob guy,...so theres that!Summary-GO HERE, EAT ALL THE FOOD. Decent food, the worst customer service and delivery on earth.I live about 20 minutes away now so have to get it delivered now. Every single time, it is late, rude, and wrong. Please see tonight's photo of 'proof of delivery' - that yellow strip is is not at my apartment, and if you zoom in on the bag, it is NOT from House of India. I called him 5 times - photo below - and he was sitting in my parking lot the whole time ignoring me. When he finally showed up, he pretended he was shocked I called. Really? My food was cold because he sat there so long.In addition, my order, which is the same every time (creature of habit), has been delivered and executed incorrectly 3 of the last 6 times. I have been a regular customer of theirs for the last 3 years. Tonight was my last straw. I love Indian food so much! I want to rave, but this place has disappointed me time and time again. Excellent choice! Our first visit and it's a new favorite! We loved the 4 dishes we ordered and the service was outstanding! We couldn't have enjoyed a family dinner more. Food-5 star Food was quick and delicious-all levels of spiciness are available. My favorites were the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. The garlic naan was done just right -hot but not dried out. The rice pudding was a perfect end to a great dinner. Service -wish I could give more than 5 stars ! Unbelievably helpful with our choices, all levels of spiciness available.The manager and staff made the whole evening an exceptional experience. Facility 5 - clean, neat, plenty of space, tables and booths available, cloth napkins, adequate parking in front lot Location 5 star -easy to find in a busy shopping area, We will plan to return when we are in town again.

I went on a Friday for the lunch buffet and it was an amazing experience. The food was fresh and the staff were extremely nice and attentive. Price was fair for what was offered. They also made sure I had plenty of naan and didn't run out. I'll continue to come for a while and hope to have similar experiences. Dinner menu prices look a little high - lunch buffet seems like the best way to go.
