This is mine and my boyfriend's favorite place to order takeout from for Chinese. We always order the Mongolian Beef and Lo Mein. The portions are pretty big and is always consistent on quality. Would recommend if you're looking to not cook one night!

worst Chinese food ever! Sad thing is I used to order from here years ago, and it was decent. Now literally the worst Chinese food in the city. The Mongolian beef was flavorless and horrible! The steamed potstickers were glutenous blobs of uncooked dough with lukewarm pork filling. the shrimp chop Suey was disgusting. The chicken wings and egg rolls tasted like they've been fried in month old grease and everything had a bitter aftertaste. I would avoid this at all cost.

Oof this place could definitely use some work. Where to begin... I would say the lo mein was super soggy and saucy when I am used to a bit of an oily drier lo mein. It had a flavor that I was not used to and something that I wouldn't expect when you think lo mein. The hot and sour soup was probably the only okay thing that I had with it resembling some idea of normal hot and sour soup. The General Tso's was a mess. It tasted like just like sweet and sour chicken and all the fried bits were extra soggy. The sauce was not as prevalent and I've never seen a general tso's chicken with other fruits and veggies besides broccoli. I was super disappointed in this place and everything was a to go order. I would not come back again.

I have only had food from House of Hunan delivered so I can't speak about the dining experience. The menu is extensive. So many choices from Thai noodles to lots of different Chinese and other Asian cuisines. You will find something that you like and it will be great! I had chicken fried rice - delicious. Singapore style noodles - delicious Chicken chow fun - delicious Scallion pancakes - delicious All of the food was prepared with quality ingredients by a real chef. This is not fast food Chinese. Great valueI will order delivery from House of Hunan next time I am in town and I hope to one day eat in the restaurant

The General Tso's Chicken was good and the Orange Chicken was average. The best item by far was the Crab Rangoons. They put an onion in it, which made it delicious!

This is a great neighborhood Chinese restaurant that I've been going to since I was in high school. I'll be honest, I'm not sure if they have the $5.00 dine-in special anymore ($5.00 for one entree, fried rice and hot tea), but that doesn't really matter. You're might get "authentic" Chinese food, but it's Americanized Chinese food at its best. First, the food is pretty amazing. It does matter if you like Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken or beef with broccoli, it's all good. I partially like their soups. My favorite is their sweet and sour soup. That pepper and mummy broth gets me every time. Also, their egg drop soup and wonton soup are also worth ordering. Second, service is very fast. If you order in, your food will come hot and fact. Third, everyone working there this friendly.There some drawbacks. First, delivery can be a bit show. Second, parking is almost impossible in the area. I do not recommend driving there.Over, great neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
