Hot, fresh, with a slight crisp to it. These doughnuts are the best I've ever had. I got the mini powered sugar ones. This place gets 5 stars not only for the doughnuts, but the 5 star customer service they provided. They will definitely continue getting my business.

Tried these donuts at the food truck festival in south lake union. My oh my were they tasty, the wait was a little long but granted they were busy. I had their maple bacon and raspberry dipped donuts. Both were fried to perfection and very flavorful. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to get them. However if I am ever in their area I would for sure make a stop for some.

Last Saturday, my girlfriend and I decided to check out Goodwill's 31st Annual Glitter Sale. We arrived at around 7:45 am and joined the already massive line of excited shoppers. I was still half asleep and nowhere near the plane of enthusiasm that most of the other people in line seemed to be inhabiting. When I saw the Hot Revolution Donuts truck, I decided that some sugary donuts might help me get into the spirit of the event. Hot Revolution makes bite-sized donuts which are slightly more dense than their traditional counterparts. You can order 6 or 13 of them, and you can get them dusted and glazed. I ordered 13 mini donuts dusted in cinnamon sugar and topped with a vanilla glaze for approximately $7.50. In the town I grew up in, there was a place called T & T donuts which everyone went to. I remember that a dozen full-sized donuts cost $6.00, so my eyebrows raised a bit when I heard the price at Hot Revolution. Anyway, the donuts were quite good. The outside of each donut was golden brown and slightly crispy while the inside was soft and chewy. The cinnamon sugar with vanilla glaze was a great combo. These donuts taste much better than the ones served at Top Pot. However, the price is a little too high to make me want to actively seek out this truck in the future.

Delicious donuts and even better service. The make them fresh so they warm you up nicely on any chilly Seattle evening. We tried three different flavors and I'd highly recommend the cinnamon vanilla donuts. Stop by and grab a bite!

Well done Hot Revolution Donuts! I typically don't eat gluten but once in awhile especially for Donuts I will partake. They were voted best dessert 2019 at the Edmonds Food Festival so of course I had to give them a try. These mini bite size treats did NOT disappoint. We tried six bourbon bacon maple and six chocolate frosted with sprinkles. The chocolate ones were pretty typical yet messy but the bourbon bacon maple were extremely flavorful. The only complaint, I wish you could have two flavor choices when ordering six mini donuts instead of having to buy more then you want or need when wanting to sample more then one flavor. Otherwise- Great way to end our day at the festival!

Mini-donuts seem pretty simple right? They're not. A lot of people do a mediocre job of it. I used to have a favorite mini-donut vendor. Then the business was sold. Twice. Hot Revolution is the first ray of hope I've had in a long time. My first visit to the truck was at the newly located Shoreline Farmers Market. I decided to try a number of donuts - plain, powdered, and the coveted maple bacon. All of them were delicious! These donuts have a crispy outside and dreamy tenderness inside! After letting them sit for awhile, I was pleasantly surprised to see they held up very well. No sogginess. The plain donut was the biggest surprise of all. The batter was slightly sweet and I could have eaten about two dozen of them. Plain ones! The maple bacon was drizzled with sticky syrup and topped with real bacon. Since that first visit, I've been back to the truck countless times. Just remember, these donuts are made fresh so you'll have to wait for them to fry. They're totally worth it!
