Hot Pot & BBQ & Sake Bomb

I would not recommend dining here, especially if you love traditional hot pot. Overall, the establishment was not very clean, the service was slow and unfriendly, and the food itself was just okay. Upon arriving we were not greeted for quite some time, when we finally were acknowledged we weren't welcomed. They don't light the fire under your pot. They don't have the sauce and toppings bar and they don't even have the sauces available upon request. When we asked why the sauces weren't available the person working (who appeared to be the owner) explained that the customers were wasting too much so they simplified...every part of the experience.The bathroom didn't lock, there were no paper towels, and the soap bottle itself was dirty. We ordered the personal fish, veggie, and lamb hot pots (even though we are pretty certain we were served beef). None of them were that great. There was no lotus root in the veggie pot, the beef was almost certainly lamb, and the fish one had dumplings in it? On top of our awful experience the bill was $58. Yikes.

5 stars for the experience not the food. The food was very good. Shared a beef hotpot and rice noodles between 2 people and it was pretty good. Spicy and flavorful. But the main reason for 5 stars was Jimmy. Jimmy was amazing. Cool, friendly guy. Super happy to have us in there even tho it was very late. Would go back just for jimmy

Will not be returning. The soup was very salty. There was no fire on the "hot pot". Service was bad, the server did not even give us spoons or water lol. We left without even eating it. Probably after 2 bites :( very disappointing, was quite excited to try this place... the ambiance was dull and had foul smell :(

Food was horrible. The noodle soup had veggies , meat floating in chili oil. My other friend & I experienced stomach issues the next day. The restaurant owners were friendly and chatty, but that doesn't make up for the bad food. Really bad sanitation in the bathroom, no working lock in the men's room & the water in the basin was leaking . The toilets were unclean. I'm quite sure they'd be fine for health violation.

I wish I didn't even have to give them a star. My boyfriend and I spent $80 on a meal and we took 2 bites and had to pay and left. The whole thing was pretty fucking nasty. We have called the health department and we are hoping they will figure this shit out

3 Stars- for our first experience at a hotpot restaurant, I wasn't impressed! The experience and atmosphere was a bit awkward and uncomfortable.The food was decent but for the price we paid it wasn't worth it.It's one man attending to all the guests, in which several people ended up walking out because they were not attended too.Another group of people came in and we're drunk, put on their own music on the speakers and acted as if they ran the place.We won't return here nor would I recommend it to anyone!

This place is very hole in the wall, super underground but so kind. The staff is always super kind and nice, very chill atmosphere. A good place to kick back and jut have a good time. The music is always amazing and the food is super good! Not a higher end place, but it's a gem nonetheless. Good price for good food and drinks. The owners are so kind and just want everyone to have a good time. Open late and great drinks, definitely a spot not to miss

Came into this place 3/5/23 for dinner. The leather to the chairs were all missing. The music was very loud. It's an asian restaurant playing rap and r&b music. Wrong music for the wrong ambience setting. We ordered calamari and it literally had less than 7 pieces. We ordered one of the hot pot dishes and the hot pot did not have any fire underneath the entree to keep it warm and or hot. The guy told us "we no longer have fire underneath the hot pots because we had an incident with a customer in the past. The hot pot fell over him." When we asked about the fire for the hot pot. We left very shortly after getting our food. The food is not up par.

This place is so fun! The owners are very friendly and have great customer service. The environment is definitely more of an upbeat almost bar type of situation, so if that's what you are looking for this is the place to go. You can go on AUX & play whatever music you like, and the Sake bombs are such a great deal. It's fun to go in a big group!

im so confused! I walked in with my parents and little sister ready to eat...until a waiter looked at us weird because we had a child. He said and I QUOTE "oh we can't serve you because you guys have a child and we are serving alcohol". I have never been so discriminated. Like is this not a restaurant...i have been to so many restaurants that served us even though they were serving alcoholic too. And on top of all of that, everyone was just looking at us being confused. Never going back!
