Wow! What a yummy experience! My sister and I love Mongolian Grill style restaurants and this was a new one for us! They had a great selection of veggies and ingredients. Plus, I like how you can put in your own meat. Usually the restaurant does that for you... but here you can add as much or little as you'd like. One of the employees was very eager to help and made our sauces for us. It was helpful but maybe a skosh overbearing. The food was delicious!!! So many great sauces to add on after cooking too. She treated us to Thai tea and it was delicious.

This place has really become welcoming to its customers since I came here last! It used to be that they wouldn't let you take your leftovers without paying for them so you had to be very careful about how much you took. (That is good practice for everyone, of course, but not always easy to make happen when you're mixing up your bowl.)They now charge by the pound which may sound expensive but my husband and child and I are able to eat for at least two meals so that's worth it, in my opinion. The staff is SO FRIENDLY and the owner is so sweet. It really feels like they love their customers and it's a wonderful feeling. The food is great, as always. Fresh veggies, fresh proteins, and yummy noodles!

Best service ever. The food was delicious and I was not sure what sauces to use but the waitress came over and helped me. I found out the sauces are all homemade and they are delicious. I was given a drink to try one of the bubbly teas very delicious. I will be coming back just for the service alone being phenomenal.

Had a great experience here. It was pretty busy but it was a Saturday night. We didn't really understand how to do it so we were just stuffing the bowl with all our favorite items which was so fun to make the perfect stir fry. Starts off with veggies , goes on to meats, sauces , many different toppings. When I go next time I'll grab two bowls because I flipped my bowl trying to stuff mine down and there's so many options I wanted in there ( quite embarrassing but I bet I'm not the first )-- then you bring it over to the counter and they cook it for you and give you a number! Pay after it's all done! It's wonderful! Staff was really friendly. The cooks were a little scattered but the front staff was keeping everyone in line they were great. The inside was cute, standard little diner feel. I didn't get to try a drink but those looked good. Will try that next time. Will be back!! So yummy!

I have loved every Mongolian grill I've been to. Besides this one. It was an awkward vibe as soon as I walked in. It felt tense in the air between staff and I am assuming the owner. The veggies are dried out, I was hoping to add real garlic or ginger, but they only have garlic water and ginger water? The meal is by pound by the end and somehow the meal ended up being a hell of a lot more than I would expect, in addition they add the rice to the plate/weight. If I knew this I would have not got it and paid 12-14 dollars (or whatever the cost) for a per pound of cooked rice. Then the worst part is the cashier rung me up, RUSHED around the counter to watch me put in my electronic tip whom was the woman running place. WHO DOES THAT?! I won't return, due to veggie food quality, and if the owner/manager didn't rush around to watch me place a tip, but the latter is unacceptable.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to the Hot Iron Mongolian Grill for about a year now, and we love the food and service at this location. The owner puts out unique items like homemade spicy chicken and Korean pancakes sometimes, and the Thai iced tea is also a favorite. Lots of selection in terms of the noodle bar. The usual waitress is also kind and attentive. We love our Mongolian grill!!

Love this place! The owner is so kind and the food tastes so good. It's one my husband and I frequent. We love dining in and serving ourselves up and watching our food be cooked. The selections of food are super good and the sauces are great too.

We came in on 4/13/24 with the expectation it was the same as hot iron in mill creek, which doesn't charge by weight but whether you do all you can eat or 1 bowl and take home leftovers. We were surprised when we saw them weighing the food and saw it was $13.50/lb (even the cooked rice they put on your plate). By that point our food was already on the grill, otherwise we would have left. We got two bowls with ice water and it was $80 including the 20% tip. The cooks were young and the owner was pretty rude to the employee that was cleaning the food bar. We went in at 8:00pm and saw their hours posted on their door that they closed at 9:00pm so we felt we had enough time to comfortably eat without feeling rushed. The cooks seemed in such a rush to start closing that my chicken was still completely raw (even on the outside) and I didn't notice until I actually started eating and noticed it was really mushy. This immediately made me lose my appetite knowing I just ate raw chicken. I brought it to the owners attention and they put it back on the grill without changing gloves (cross contamination?) even after I told them I already ate from it. She was very apologetic and made us a complementary thai tea, but at that point I was feeling nauseous. As we were eating they were closing the restaurant and turning off lights and it was still 8:45.. needless to say we will never do business here again. The one in mill creek is way better, with much more reasonable prices. I have been sick the past two days with terrible stomach pains and a fever. Can't eat anything without it going through almost immediately. Will be getting tested for salmonella infection. This has been reported to the health department.

I ordered $200 worth of food tonight. Half of our order was wrong, my husband called the restaurant to complain. This has happened on several occasions, in the background the owner yelled "if he don't like that he don't order here". I am disappointed as this place has been a spot my daughter and I have frequented since she was very young. I will never give them my business again. How disrespectful I work hard for my money and choose to support local and this "local owner" was completely rude and clearly does not support her community.
