Hot Bagels and Deli

The Bagel sandwiches are so delicious, the Service is always above par and it has a great vibe to just hang out, do some lap top work and listen to the sounds around. This was my first visit here. I knew I was coming in late for bagels. A good selection of bagels. However, practically all their bagels had been sold out! That's good news for the business. There were a handful of choices. I tried a spinach bagel with cream cheese. I had it toasted. It was good and chewy. Shared parking lot and Cox Wi-Fi for subscribers.

I've been living in this area for years and just noticed this place the other day. I'm from the east coast and getting a decent bagel has required a drive across town and even then the bagels have been just okay. There used to be a place across from Desert Ridge that had amazing bagels but they closed years ago and I haven't had an excellent bagel in AZ since. I tried Hot Bagels & Deli for the first time yesterday. Walking in it had that familiar ambiance I grew up with so hopes were high. I ordered a dozen assorted bagels, some lox by the pound, lox spread, chive spread, and a small container of strawberry cream cheese for my daughter. I got home to discover they had thrown in three additional bagels! And the bagels were delicious, best I've had in AZ. Everything was great, great service. A bit pricey but so is everything these days. I will be back, many times.

They constantly get orders wrong in the past and I put a Togo order and when I get there they only made one sandwich cause they ran out early in the morning of chicken salad sandwich, clearly they don't know how to prepare, extremely annoying. And they charge extra if you want it on a croissant, like what!

I ordered a raisin bagel with plain cream cheese and it was the worst bagel I have ever eaten. The raisin bagel was a white bread bagel with a few raisins. It was the worst tasting raisin bagel. I have never seen a white bread bagel before and it was horrible. I will never return for a bagel.

These bagels are a step up from chain bagels, but nowhere near a real East Coast bagel. The bagels are too soft, they miss the quintessential chew that turns a roll into a bagel. That being said, when an egg-and-cheese-on-an-everything bagel craving hits, this is a passable imitation.

I order pick up from here regularly and it's always good, my orders are correct, and they're ready when I get there. Awesome cream cheeses, and expansive selection of bagels and cream cheeses. I just wish they would have iced coffee or a few more drinks but otherwise, highly recommend.

I had to give a lower score because I got sick eating here. The food was delicious but my coffee seemed off. I took maybe three drinks then said I can't drink this. Not too long after I got really bad stomach cramps and ended up sick. With that said I really do believe it was the creamer and not my food. Below is what I got.

So we came here after leaving my in-laws house. We saw it along the way. My wife ordered the bagel with cream cheese and I ordered the Chorizo Burrito. I was gently surprised at how good it was. I feel like someone should have told me about this place! It was so good I ordered 2 bagels for the road! If you are close by you gotta try this place. It is really clean, the people who were hanging out were friendly and the vibe was great!

These bagels are the real deal. They are undoubtedly the best bagels in town. I ordered an egg bagels with cream cheese. Pure perfection. Put on the expensive side, over four dollars for the bagel but totally worth it. Five stars for sure.
