It's a cool place with a laid back PNW vibe. Had a Pfreim Blond IPA and some nachos. The nachos were OK, something you could make at home, the IPA was great. It's a great place for a beer.

Life-changingly delicious Roasted Garlic Soup w/ melted swiss cooked to soft perfection (and crusty around the edges of the bowl). The croutons soak up the juices and redefined my life on 15th Avenue. Thank you, Cole, for introducing me to the love of my life.A+ beer selection and service. I laugh til I cry every time I'm here.

The selection of beers is really good. The atmosphere is pleasant. The food was indifferent (my reuben was chewed and did not have good quality ingredients, and the tuna & salad lunch special was just ok, not great). The service was slow and distracted.I won't be going back. I would imagine that if you're going for the beers, it's a good place to go - but the food - disappointing.

Great old capitol hill institution. Small but well-selected tap list. Got a seat by the window to watch the world go by. The pizza an odd mix: great toppings, especially the spicy sausage cut from actual sausages; don't know if it just needed salt but there was a certain blandness to crust and sauce. the crust was very functional--thin, held up the weight, crispt but not cardboard. Friendly service.

Not a bad stop. They have a good selection of beers on tap, I had a wit. The food here was pretty good. I had the Reuben. It was good. It had a generous portion of meat and was on sourdough bread. I got the side salad with it which was good. The other option for a side is chips and salsa. Service was good and I liked the interior of the restaurant, one wall was covered in old photos which were kind of fun. Overall, it was an ok stop.

Great vibes here at Hopvine! This is the sort of sports bar that reminds me of my time back in the Midwest..... I love the nick nicks on the walls and the friendly waiters. There is a decent sized beer menu with a rotating menu on tap. Love having this casual place right on 15th!

Hopvine has a very cozy atmosphere inside with a warm, welcoming and approachable bartender. Thank you for the Kit Kats ;) The beer selection is pretty good and the prices are reasonable.

A cute little neighborhood pub tucked in between Cap Hill and Central District -- they have something for everyone ranging from puzzles to trivia night and more! I've stopped by on a couple of occasions to grab a beer with friends and they have a solid rotation of drinks on tap as well as helpful bartenders. It's a cozy spot with plenty of seating, and I recommend checking it out for a laid-back evening!

This is my neighborhood pub, so I feel good about saying that it's a great place to have a beer. The tap list changes all the time, so it's a true cornucopia of beers. They have gluten-free options too, which is cool since my son can't handle the stuff.I bring my wife here too. Everyone feels comfortable and can find something to eat or drink. I enjoy all of the staff too. Super nice people who play cool music. The vibe is good.

I've been going through places that I hope survive this COVID crisis so my neighborhood doesn't change and Hopvine is right at the top of my list.I often find myself there for a working lunch having a beer (or sometimes 2...shhh) from the best rotating draft list on Capitol Hill. The food is high quality and the service often comes with a laugh that reminds you that this bar is a family. While I typically get the same pizza...I never regret surprising my bartender with the occasional random food item from the menu. The soups are incredible.Living just a block away - Hopvine is the pub that needs our support to carry on the character of 15th. Support local and keep Hopvine stronger than ever!
