I live next to a big box wine store, and a major upscale grocery store however, I drove across town past 7 other places just for a bottle of wine for a friends dinner party. We prefer to drive out of the way just to visit this store. The prices are fair and reasonable. They sell prepackaged 6-packs or you can mix and match from their amazing selection. They've made buying alcohol even more fun ;) They remember me and my dog and always say hi when they see me out on a long run, yes I run by just to wave and get a smile. They feel like family because they are genuinely warm and kind. Never any pressure to buy anything. A number of times I've been directed to a less expensive wine (than I was looking at) that was more tailored to what I was explaining I wanted. While it's a business, they want you to be happy with your purchase. They won't steer you wrong. They love their shop and love us even more. Take a trip to see them. Take friends visiting town to see them. Grab something there as a gift for someone. Just go say hi!!! You won't regret it.

A closet full of wonderful beerThis place is tiny-- you have to wiggle past a shelve of beer just to get through the door. Despite this, they manage to pack an excellent selection of beers. And the best part: you don't need to buy a six pack. Most of the beer is available as singles, so you can walk out with a bag of stuff to try rather than a bunch of the same thing.The clerk (owner?) was extremely friendly. He noticed my affinity for Founders, and when I told him that I hail from Michigan he told me about upcoming seasonal releases. But, alas, they do not stock Bells.My only regret is that this place is so far out of the way and that the selection is, ultimately, quite small. That latter bit makes it not quite five stars for me.

We always come here on Friday's to stock up for the weekend or before heading over to a friend's for dinner. They have a huge selection of beer, wine and cider and also have beer on tap to fill up a growler! The other great thing about this place is the owners. Friendly people, passionate about what they do and very deserving of success. Support small businesses!!

Please come and support this locally owned wine shop. They have a great selection of beer and ciders too and the owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I have been going there since they opened and the prices are extremely competitive and I love the variety.

My new favorite place in Seattle! Hopvine Patch is amazing and the owners are incredibly nice and helpful. They know their stuff! Their selection is AMAZING and they have beers and wine from all over the world. And they said that they pick it all out themselves! If you're in the area, stop by, chat with them and buy some beer and wine - I promise you won't regret it.

This place not only has an amazing selection of beers and wine, mix and match 6 packs of beer, the prices are very reasonable (esp. compared to similar smaller stores like Metropolitan Deli, Lyon Grocery, etc). In addition, the owners are the nicest people around and are so knowledgeable!

I saw a post online which was so positive as I was searching for somewhere to walk to get wine- totally worth the walk - such a lovely couple! the place may be small but has everything you need at reasonable prices!!!! will absolutely make this my wine shop!!!!! kindness matters and this couple were SO kind to me!

Small liquor store very near my hotel that was recommended by the front desk. I'm so glad they did! The owners were very sweet and also helpful with me picking out a bottle of wine. For the space, they really pack those bottles in there! Lol.Luckily, they weren't too busy when I walked in so I was able to talk with the owners about where they were from and then we got into talking about Korean food in the Seattle area... nothing was close by unfortunately, but I bookmarked a couple places in case I am in that neck of the woods again! They were basically just helpful with whatever you wanted to talk to them about! Follow them on instagram! :)

Incredible Beer Selection and Incredible Service!This small hidden gem has a huge inventory! This is by far my favorite place to go for wine and build your own six packs!They let you buy singles and pay the same price it would be for a six pack so you can mix and match!They have to whole alphabet of beer types!AmbersBlondesCream AlesDopplebocks.....They have them all!The couple that owns it is soooo nice! They are very well versed and if you ask for recommendations they will point you in not just one right direction, but many! They are so kind and friendly! If you like beer and wine, definitely stop by this small corner store! Truly a hidden gem in Westlake!Despite the small space, they have a larger selection than most grocery stores!! Cheers!
