Navajo Taco or Indian Taco? The debate is settled. LOL JK but IYKYK.Had this place saved for a while and glad we got to try it out for dinner. My husband and I shared a Navajo Taco which they were able to split for us. Very accommodating! For an appetizer, we got the chips and salsa. Salsa was good and had a nice kick of heat. The chips were okay-not home made. The frybread was light and crispy; the beans were firm and savory. The cheese, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh as well. I'd definitely come back again when craving a Navajo taco. Great to see a taste of home only 20 minutes away. The restaurant had plenty of seating options. The overall atmosphere was inviting.

I came across Hope's Frybread by accident. I saw customers coming out of the restaurant. I asked how the food was and they said it was one of their favorite spots.Small and quaint with plenty of seating. This place is so clean you could probably eat off the floor. The staff is friendly. I asked the hostess what was the most popular item and she said that I have a hot taco I ordered mine with chili meat and beans. There is a vegetarian and bean less chili option.I ordered my Navajo taco to go. I had every intention of eating it at home... I just couldn't wait. I got into my car and cut off a piece of the outer crust of the Fryebread and I was surprised on how light the bread is in comparison to how it looks. The bread is really nice and airy. Then I took a bite with all the toppings and it was really good. The chili they mak is nothing like a chili con carne. Their version of chili is not heavily spiced or salted. I missed the salt... I think it enhances everything.I would definitely go back again. I probably would just even buy the bread and take it home and pour butter and honey all over it.A nice local eatery, and Native American Heritage.

This new spot in the plaza is an absolute must-visit! The unique turquoise signage outside is eye-catching and inviting, making you feel welcome before you even step inside. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by smiling employees and a great menu that promises a delicious experience. The left side features a stunning mural, and the next room showcases beautiful paintings and clothing, adding a unique and authentic touch to the place. The atmosphere has a warm, native feel that makes it stand out as something truly special.Mesa needed a place like this! The original fry bread was absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend checking this place out--you won't be disappointed!

This was a tasty lunch! I have had Hope's Frybread on my list to try for some time but I wasn't near other locations. I happen to be going to another shop in this same shopping center so I decided to try. I tried the cheeseburger frybread with macaroni salad. I got my food to go and I wanted to taste it while the bread was freshly made. It was good then and even later after being reheated. It was just like a chalupa, if you've not had frybread before. This location appears to be pretty new, it's nice and clean with brightly painted walls and very friendly staff. Glad I stopped in :)

I stopped in and picked up a small dessert frybread (honey and powdered sugar) on the way to somewhere else. They made it hot and fresh and quick. It was so good. I'd definitely stop in here again and eat.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with my Yelp bestie, Diele K. She had been multiple times before and always talks about how tasty the frybread is. We shared a Navajo taco ($13), which is frybread topped with house chili beans, lettuce, cheese, tomato, onions, and house-made salsa. After finishing our savory meal, we determined we had to try a sweet frybread as it was my first time in. We ordered the mini classic ($3). Also had to snag an adorable magnet for each of us ($6 each or 2 for $10). The food was great and quick to come up. We arrived when it was slower, but while we were there, a wave of people came by and the team handled the influx of people very swiftly. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The establishment is very casual and love the murals on the wall along with art throughout. This was a super tasty and intriguing place to grab a bite to eat. Definitely stop in if you haven't been by!

I LOVE stopping on the side of the road up in the White Mountains and getting Fry Bread from those selling this goodness from a cart/tent...not many places can match them. I've heard great things about Hope's Frybread and checked it out today. Super friendly staff and the place was clean. Lots of seating inside along with some merch if you're interested. You order at the counter, take a number and have a seat...they bring your food out to you. I got the Navajo Taco and was concerned it wouldn't be big enough. Make no mistake, they're NOT the size of a taco :) It's about the size of a personal pizza. It was amazing! Chili beans with meat, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and salsa. I added the hot sauce to give it the extra kick. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm coming back here again for sure! There's a hamburger option on the menu I wanna taste!

Very glad we stopped by! We had the honey and powder sugar, my son and I liked it very much. Definitely will come back to try something else on the menu. I came to Yelp to do a review on this place because it is worth mentioning (we happened to be wanting to go to another dessert place in the same complex but they were closed). But now that I know they close at 8 (we walked in at 8.05p), and I felt the service was normal, it says a lot. They could have told me they were closed. Instead, I did not get unwelcome look or service, and just realized that we actually walked in 5 minutes past their open hours! It madeThis fry bread I am about to finish while typing taste even better

This place is great for a quick and easy stop. At first, I thought the address was outdated because it's next to a bunch of construction that didn't look like it opened up to shops, but once you find it, it makes sense. The menu is quick and easy to navigate, and there's good visibility of everything being prepared, which feels great. They have a nice seating area at tables and at the bar.The pricing is good. Personally, I would prefer a bit more flavor and more steak or cubed meat options, but otherwise, this place is fantastic. The bread is delightful. I found myself adding salt and sauces for more flavor. That said, definitely worth checking out!

We were so excited to try Hope's Frybread. We got a lukewarm greeting when we entered. They were not busy and all gathered around the counter chatting. My mom got a desert frybread with very little honey. She would have liked more but we were not comfortable asking. I just wanted a plain hot frybread with cheese. I was surprised they used pre-shredded cheese which of course does not melt. We will not return, but wish them the best.
