We've been coming here for years. It's a tradition to come after the Pat Timan race. Even when it's busy the wait times aren't long. Open for breakfast and lunch. Service is always fast. Fun waitresses w/the best personable attn to customers, family friendly, "feel at home" place. Love their food! Biscuits & gravy, omelets w/country potatoes. Yum!

Hoosiers is a little slice of Indiana right in the middle of a strip mall, and while I'm not entirely sure what makes it quintessentially Indiana, the plethora of memorabilia on the walls certainly sets the scene. The ambiance is reminiscent of a small Midwest diner--charming, clean, and rocking that authentic café vibe. It's a bit run down, but in a way that feels lived-in and loved. The food at Hoosiers is nothing short of fantastic, especially if you're in the mood for breakfast. Think home-cooked meals from grandma's kitchen, with all the warmth and heartiness you'd expect. The menu is brimming with choices, and while breakfast steals the show, the lunch options hold their own quite well, offering above-average fare that's sure to satisfy.Service here is top-notch. The waitstaff are super attentive, always with a smile and a bit of friendly chitchat to make you feel right at home. They've got that small-town hospitality down pat, making your dining experience all the more enjoyable. In summary, Hoosiers is a delightful spot for anyone craving a hearty, home-cooked meal in a setting that's as welcoming as it is nostalgic. For its fantastic breakfast, authentic café vibe, and stellar service, I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars. It's a little taste of the Midwest that's worth every visit.

Great atmosphere-even though I grew up in Michigan. Lol. The menu has lots of choices. Our server, Savoi, was very pleasant although we had to repeat 2 of our requests (mustard and my soda). Very efficient. My Ruben was very good and my wife liked her her soup and 1/2 Turkey sandwich.

I'm not a sportball fan but my friend wanted to try this Indiana based breakfast spot recently. We were seated fairly quickly even though they were super busy. Waitress was super friendly. We always split food and try a cinnamon roll if they have it. It was warm and plentiful. The icing was not amazing as it tasted more like a powdered sugar drizzle rather than a cream cheese frosting, but who knows. That was just preference. The omelette was good although the ranch potatoes plated with it were cold. Couldn't track down the waitress each time we were going to so we decided to let it go and sorta just picked at everything. My friend had a side of bacon that she asked for "crispy" and it came out limp. All in all it was "okay" and I do appreciate the service when it was there although the food wasn't spectacular. Kindness earns it 4 stars but food was 3. Clearly they have a lot of patrons and returning folk who think they are amazing, so I'm glad they are doing well otherwise!

MY GOODNESS this café never disappoints!! It is a tradition to come here for breakfast after participating in the annual Pat Tillman race. It was packed when we got here and was told there was a 20-minute wait. I didn't time it but it sure didn't seem like 20 minutes. This place is FABULOUS! Generous portions and always delicious! Service was once again impeccable! I had the veggie omelet, with ranch fries and biscuits and gravy. I didn't realize the gravy had sausage in it so I took it home to be eaten by others at a later time. I always seem to come here when I am really hungry and I appreciate how quickly our meals are always brought out. I only had water this time since I did the race prior and was thirsty. But their coffee is freshly made and delicious. This is my favorite breakfast spot of all time. I can always be talked into coming here.

This place has become my new favorite diner style breakfast spot in the valley! The whole place is Indiana themed and although I've never been to Indiana if Hoosiers is any representation of it I definitely want to visit. The food tastes amazing every time. The servers are sweet and very nice. The coffee has great flavor! I have no complaints except for I wish it was a little closer to my house .

My fav go-to breakfast cafe spot in my neck of the woods. Maybe I love it because I'm a midwesterner and this place is right out of my hometown near Chicago. As soon as you walk through the door, your new name is "honey". The ladies that work the service are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. They are fast and accurate on the ordering and your coffee cup will never go empty. Everything on extensive menu here is good and comes out of the kitchen quickly and hot. I especially love their large 4-egg omelets you can customize, as well as their egg Benedict offerings. Pancakes are nice and dense and the biscuits here are imho, the best in the valley I've found. Located at one end of a strip mall on Warner in Chandler, there is plenty of open parking and you'll need it here on a weekend when this popular place fills up. They could benefit from joining "waitlist" for local customers who want to time their arrival to minimize the outside wait. Once inside, you'll feel like you are in the diner in a small Midwestern town, there are tons of college jerseys and memorabilia everywhere, of course highlighting their namesake, the Indiana Hoosiers. I love it, the friendliness of the staff and the great food make everyone happy. You may just end up striking a conversation with the table next to you and having another cup of coffee!!! Pricing is moderate. You can eat your fill and then some for $20ish pp, and don't forget about that take home box, almost everyone leaves with one!!!Highly recommend as one of best breakfast cafes I've found in Phoenix area

Visited Hoosier Cafe recently and tried their biscuits and gravy. The food was good, and the portion size was quite large, so much so that I couldn't finish it. The diner has a nice atmosphere and seems like a good spot for breakfast.

Food was good and delivered hot. We came in around 10 for a late breakfast and the place was busy. Definitely a good thing to know others enjoy coming here. We had classic chicken fried steak and eggs. Hubby had the omelette. The place is clean and the seating is comfortable. Service was prompt and friendly. Coffee wasn't my favorite and tasted a bit like instant but you can't have everything perfect nowadays. We would like to try the lunch options next time we visit.

As a born and bred Hoosier (raised in Bloomington, went to IU, often dreamed of playing bball for the Hoosiers at Assembly Hall) I can confidently say that this is the closest to home I will ever get in AZ. The pork tenderloin is the stand out. Roughly the size of a Major League Baseball Stadium, it is both perfectly crispy and just the right thickness. Simple, to the point, no frills Midwestern diner food. That's what I expect when I eat here and that's indeed what I receive. No surprises, hot coffee, and pleasant service.
