My boyfriend and I stopped by Hood Famous for a quick breakfast and cup of coffee before our flight home. The interior was nicely decorated and spacious, allowing us to quickly find a table with ample space for our luggage. We ordered two of the Pan de Sal Breakfast Sandos with longanisa pork sausage, an iced pandan latte, and an iced matcha lillikoi. I'm glad I added the pork sausage because it was very flavorful and carried the sandwich. The bread was also super fluffy. On the other hand, the iced lattes were a little disappointing. The pandan latte tasted fine and had a strong coffee flavor, but I could barely taste any pandan flavor. This was a bummer since I wanted to come here specifically for this latte. The matcha lillikoi tasted like a slightly watered down bubbly matcha and neither of us detected the lillikoi flavor. Overall, I liked our food more than our drinks and would give this place 3.5/5.

For a Wednesday late afternoon, it was quite busy. I was hopeful that it was going to be good based on all the reviews.Ube latte 3/5 - strong coffee but lacks ube flavorPandan late 3/5 - again, strong coffee but no pandan flavorWhat saved them was their cheesecake. Got their sampler pack. All was yummy! 5/5

Ahhh! Closed out my Seattle trip with a stop at this lovely cozy cafe. I indulged my Ube fantasies to the max with the Ube cheesecake, espresso latte and cookies that made it through the TSA line..even though it did crumble. My silog special had a mild garlic taste to it which was the perfect complement to the egg and greens. My friend said the pandan latte was mild and mellow, and she also enjoyed her pan de sal- longanisa. Their bread is so yummy that someone in line tried to only buy the bread instead of the whole sando..If I hadn't come here on my last day in Seattle, I would have visited more times! Definitely come early if you want to get certain items on menu since they sold out of champorado but it wasn't even 10 am yet! Service is great too! They are very patient with all the customers from what I've observed.

This is a fantastic place for great coffee and amazing food options. I loved the ambience here and the staff is super friendly. We grabbed a spot in front of the Barista so we could watch them make different coffees while we had our coffee and food. We tried Chicken Arroz Caldo, Breakfast sandwich, Chicken Adobo with garlic rice and Ub cheesecake. Chicken Arroz Caldo was my favorite dish here. Their pandan coffee is really good too, you might wanna try something else or an espresso if you are looking for something strong.

Lovely and delicious! This cafe is small and pleasant with natural light and cute wooden chairs. You bus your own table and there are gender neutral restrooms. -Iced ube latte: $6.25: delicious. I loved how sweet it was and it was so esthetic, from the layering of colors in the tall glass to the shape of the ice cubes. The purple syrup had a nice ube flavor. I don't like coffee, but this drink could turn me into a latte lover!-Ube cheesecake: $7.50: I agree with a previous reviewer that there was not much to the presentation since it was pre-packaged, but it tasted great! Rich, creamy and sweet, although there was no ube flavor. It had a crumbly graham cracker crust. Though smaller than I expected for the price, this was definitely satisfying and worth trying.

Lovely Filipino cafe near Uwajimaya in the Chinatown International District (CID!). They serve drinks and food, as well as baked goods. Their speciality is definitely ube-flavored goods, which includes coffees, toast, cookies, cheesecakes, and more. We ordered the ube latte and pandan lattes with oat milk substitute ($1 upcharge) and the ube toast ($4). Ube is definitely the star flavor at Hood; very ube-forward and delicious in everything. The pandan was weaker, though I appreciated the aesthetic literal pandan leaf stuck in my coffee. The menu is pretty small and they focus on their few specialities. Next time I'll have to try some of the baked goods from their pastry case or sit down for a meal. There is ample seating and clean restrooms. The staff were very kind. Note that there are 2 pickup counters: 1 for your food and 1 for your drinks. They don't really call out names either, so our drinks were sitting for a bit. Parking can be difficult to find, as street parking is limited. I'd recommend combining it with a shopping trip at Uwajimaya, where you can get 2 hours of parking validated with $20 worth of purchases from inside Uwajimaya or kinokuniya.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I feel it did live up to the hype! We got the OG mochi waffles (weekend only) and the Ube sugar toast. The waffles were fluffy but I actually liked the Ube toast a bit better, though both were good. I'd probably get the Turon waffle next time as I think that would give it a little more flavor pop. We also got the Filipino coffee and the pandan latte, which were both tasty. I'd definitely order the pandan latte again and go out of my way to get it here. The service was friendly and decently speedy - you pick up drinks at one counter and food at another though so you have to pay attention. The ambiance was really nice and open with big windows for plenty of light, lots of plants, and colorful mosaics around the space. Seems like an awesome place for brunch or to hang out and work!

I know it's a Filipino cafe but a lot of these flavors remind me of Malaysia~~!I don't drink expresso/coffee but the pandan and ube lattes were a perfect mix of the bitter taste of coffee and sweetness from the pandan/ube. And the ube sugar toast, I could've gotten like a hundred of these!I love the cafe vibe too. It's cozy and modern-ish but with some Filipino decor.

we stumbled upon this filipino cafe while walking around chinatown. the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. first, such cute decor and nice lighting. we were greeted warmly by the cashier and i knew this would immediately be great. sadly they ran out of decaf, but i'm willing to compromise for getting the dangerously delicious ube latte. no idea how they got such a stunning color, but damn it was addicting to look at and to drink.

Ambiance is 100, staff is super friendly too! It's def a cafe you go to for specialized stuff (e.g. calamansi mango cheesecake, or one of their ube/calamansi syrups). Support local and support BIPOC. 2/10 for the houjicha latte though
