I ordered 2 items online. Their app said it would be ready in 15 minutes (7:00pm) I did not review my food until 7:40 pm. My wife has ordered from here before and hasn't had these problems but this evening was unacceptable. I don't know if the place needs more workers or if they incompetent in their jobs. Will probably not order from this location again.The food however was really good so I can give them that small win.

1 mini Korean chicken, 1 hamburger, 1 Portuguese bean soup, and 2 soft drinks. Order placed at 7:22 pm. It is 7:52 and still waiting. Went to the counter to check and my order was there, fried cold and soggy, the food sitting in a bag for who knows how long. Taste: mini plate had half a scoop of rice, the top bun of the burger was stuck to the patty and soggy while the bottom bun was hard and stale. What a combination. Everytime I go to this zippys, Im always disappointed

Good to be back and eat at this location. This was always our favorite location we lived in HI. We ordered the fried chicken and chili plate and a Korean chicken and chili plate. Both were good but the Korean chicken portions were a bit small especially for the price since it's more than the fried chicken chili plate. Other than that it was good because they are open till midnight. Definitely will be back when we get our Zippy's cravings!

They get a half star rating higher because of their restaurant sushi bar menu! Although I found the sushi only ok and the prices were ridiculously high for temaki hand rolls. The taste was only ok. I tried the udon and the broth base was lacking in flavor. I think the zip min broth tastes better. Let me know what you guys thought. The service was excellent at this location though.

Local station with old school Hawaiian jams.If you're going out for a special occasion but don't want to SPEND TOO MUCH... I'd say ZIPPYS PEARL CITY is worth the wait! NOTE: PRICES ARE A BUT HIGH BUT... IT IS WORTH IT! Not every Zippy's is like this one and this one is worth it! They have a SUSHI BAR TOO! OMG THEY HAVE SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS!!! YESSAH!!! Pleasantly surprised by this Zippy's! I've never been here although I've driven by hundreds of times over the years. My friend was hungry after registering her car at the Safeway kiosk (who knew you could do that) so off to her choice of eatery....Zippy's! Parking is tight and my sedan is not a compact and a lot of bigger vehicles were taking one& a half spaces. I was able to get a stall under the building and we took the elevator up to the dining room. Seated immediately by a young, politely engaging and very tall man who gave us menus including the Sushi Bar menu advising it wasn't available for another 15 minutes but just in case we wanted to order he left us to peruse and choose what we wanted while he got our drinks.He returned with our drinks and we placed our orders which were promptly delivered still hot and steaming. Remarkably he returned several times to check on us. If you've ever been to Zippy's you know why I found the remarkable. My experience has always been once the wait staff drops your food you don't see them until you flag someone down to bring a check. Food was typical Zippy's fare but the service elevated the experience to 4 stars. Nicholas, his name was Nicholas hi just found my receipt!)

It was getting late and the grandkids wanted Zippy's last minute. Papa said ok of course. One wanted spam musubi's while the other wanted spaghetti. The wife wanted burrito with French fries and I went with the Loco Moco and they nailed it of course. We did the order on line and take out so ambiance is not applicable. Let's face it there is a reason why Zippy's is the "go to" ! They have good eats at a reasonable price.

I ate here before but not in the restaurant side. Today we had a large group of family members (19) and was fortunate enough that there was lots of parking in the parking lot.This Zippy's is unique cause it has a sushi bay. On top of the local favorites, they got sushi and raw fish. That's amazing.I ordered the chicken trio, and Portuguese beans soup, my wife had won ton min, and my son had the oxtail soup with rice. Everything was delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal... for dessert I had coconut Naples with vanilla ice cream. Not to mention, the service was superb. Mind you it was not too busy, but was crowded at times. I would come here again.
