Being from Waialua, this was our go-to Zippy's! And man, do I have so many good memories here. Back in the day, this was "upscale" dining for a bunch of kids who got an allowance and took the bus--or just started driving. You know this spot is one that's hard to get rid of because of all the families it serves every day, and I'm grateful for that. The Zippy's dine-in area is one of the spots that hasn't changed over the years--and honestly, that's a good thing. If it's not broken, don't fix it, right? I can look at the decor and remember all the good (and bad) times I've had here. What I really like about this location is that it has both dine-in and take-out. Our server, Spencer, was friendly and attentive, great representation for Zippy's.As for food, my favorites are always the chicken (any kind), won ton min, saimin, grilled cheese, and french fries. Their soups are reliably good, and I can always count on finding something I wanna eat--even if I don't know what I want when I walk through the doors. Although, I will always complain about the fact that they got rid of their garlic fries. Seriously, bring those back!

I want to shout out Josephine for taking extra time to ensure the celebratory cake I ordered was perfect!I ordered the cake through the app - easy enough. Through the app, it doesn't ask for any personalization so I figured it wasn't an option. Upon pickup, Josephine offered to write on the cake. I've held out quite some time before writing this review about the dining section specifically. We frequent this location a lot, I would say, usually once a week for dinner, maybe lunch occasionally. Unfortunately, each time we've come, it appears to be short staffed (1 server and 1 hostess). Wait times to be seated 15 minutes or longer, and there are, on average, 8 tables of 2-4ppl an additional 10 minutes to get drinks once seated.Today, however, I waited 10 minutes for a table, 15 min before we got drinks, and then from the time we ordered food till we got our food, it was an additional 35 min (no fried food). To me, we have never had such slow service and honestly wanted to leave before we even placed our order. The hardest part was that it's not just the server. To me, management is the reason for poor service during this visit. This is a popular spot and I hope management can help increase their services.

Decent dinner and great desserts! They do an okay job with all the local favorites, like chili, teri beef sandwich, and won ton mein. It's good and satisfies the craving, but not some place to go out of your way for. Service in the dining room is always friendly, so we enjoy that aspect.Where this place shines is the desserts. My favorite is the dobash cake that is decadently rich while being moist and airy, I could eat almost half the smaller cake if no one was watching. Rainbow cake is also good, and all their pastries are worth trying.

The Best Comfort Food Around Town... I love the fact that they're open late for dine-in... Even later would be better. When i'm feeling lazy and don't wanna cook, Zippy's Mililani is my go-to... I like the stuff here. they pay attention to their surroundings. When you walk in, they acknowledge you and if they're busy, they'll be sure to let you know they'll be with you shortly.. That's all we ask for. that we even exist... The other Zippy's need some of that in their life... lol The food is consistent. Always comes out freshly cooked. You can tell the other places that "SandBag" their food and fry-up chicken ahead of time.

This is one of the better Zippy's I've been to. We dined in on a Friday night and the wait to be seated wasn't bad.m, and we had a large group. The service was really good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful to us. The food came out timely and the tasted yummy. Good place to come any time of day.

Over 2 hour wait for my online order at Mililani Town Center Zippys! Management should have turned off the app once they noticed that the wait times are getting more than an hour long. When I placed my order online it said 25 minutes until ready. But it ended up being 2 hours waiting in this crowded place. I can't imagine how the staff's morale was affected tonight with the place packed with all of the upset customers. I ordered online at 6:18 pm and my order was ready at 8:21pm!
