This was such a disappointing experience. I love chicken katsu and it's not bad at Zippy's, but this time was different. The mini chicken katsu that I ordered was indeed mini. The chicken pieces were so tiny and were dry. Compare it to the picture of my chicken katsu from last year, which was much bigger. Chicken Katsu: 0/5. I will not be getting this again anytime soon. Can go to other places and get chicken katsu for cheaper with a bigger portion. Side toss salad was good, which made me give 2/5 stars for this review.

Last time I came they were able to give me my barrel chili, zip meal add ons (mac salad & barrel rice) quick and easy this time. Luckily I didn't get any attitude from the employees and I didn't have to ask for missing items. Went straight to the counter and was greeted by a friendly employee. Update on other review:Still waiting on a response back from the mgr Chentel since the other mgr Ronald/Ronaldo said to wait for her call back. I've been trying to call/email her since we keep missing each other's timing but she the one insisting we "talk story". I give up. Dont bring a big group/family to this Zippy's ever. They just cannot handle it here.

Next stop. ZIPPYS! I used to be a fan of Zippy's, I think maybe some of us were/was back in the day, when the food was better, portions were bigger and prices were cheaper. Zippac costs almost 16.00. I noticed at this Kaneohe location, a lot of people order online and that's the way to go here because service is horrible. I guess like most anywhere, there is staff shortage, but what got me was this cashier named Julie who was so rude. Not a single smile and curt. Like she didn't enjoy her job or just having a bad day. Sheesh! I don't mind the soups, but the rotation in soups is very minimal, it's the same soup every few days. I love the spaghetti, I think that's my fave. Enjoy your Pasties and dobash cake.

Came by for some dinner on a Friday night. For a party of 3 we sign up for the waitlist online since it was around dinner time and we wanted to make sure that the wait wasn't too long. Once we got there there's a small parking lot in the back. When we got inside there's the left for take out and right for dine in. We were first on the list and it said 10 min wait but ended up taking over 30/40 minutes to be seated. When we were seated though we ordered right away since we knew what we wanted. We got the Friday special which was the Korean pork special plate and a chili chicken plate. Both of which were super tasty and actually came out pretty quickly. Overall not bad just a bit of the wait, but the food smacks :)

Don't know why there is hate on this place, went there many times, service was top notch, no wait times, the place was clean, bathrooms clean the workers were super nice. The food came out with better presentation than I expected. I had the large wuntun min, and we had veggie chilli and a pancake. It was all good and we ate every last bite.Definitely would come again. To finish it off we had a mochi donut and 2 glazed donuts. Tastes great!! and very affordable

I know,I know! You can make all this @ home right? But it's our day off and oatmeal is a no-go for a cheat day meal!!!This pic is a rounded meal...Decaf coffee,corned beef hash,Portuguese sausage,scrambled eggs and rice! Plus,a strawberry coffee cake!!! Even breakfast deserves a little dessert! Hee hee! Service was fast and friendly. Sat in the take out section. Kinda noisy for a weekday. Lady watching her phone ( no headphones),then she was sneezing! Another lady making business calls.THEN...a younger man swiftly sat to have his meal with loud music using a speaker (without headphones )!!!!!!!!!!!Is this the thing now? Much lower value vs to go from L and L or Rainbows. Prices are much higher, portions much smaller and food generally blah.Dining in, same small portions for overpriced menu. Only sizeable item is large wonton min, but noodles often pasted together with overcooked and falling apart wontons in lukewarm soup that tastes surprisingly like the S&S powdered soup base packet. Fried chicken is almost always very dark brown with overcooked crunchy MEAT on the edges.Half a hot dog? You gotta be kidding.I have to be honest here...to be nice would be telling lies.
