I've passed by Zippy's Kailua a number of times but never had the chance to go to their dine-in restaurant until my girlfriend and I went on a Friday evening. Service is alright, but was still moderately slow despite the fact it was not very crowded at the time of our visit. Anyways, Zippy's has some wonderful menu items and food! There is usually plenty of parking available but can fill up quickly during peak periods.

I had the Korean chicken and it was pretty good. They have an extensive menu and some other things I'll probably come back and try. The location is good and the staff is very friendly. It's hard to give any fast food spot more than 3 stars because of how it's all just mass production. I enjoy all fast food but it has to be exceptional to get more than 3 stars. Either way, I look forward to trying more of the menu later down the road.

Lots of parking available. This location has the bakery and restaurant. Our fave dish is the oxtail soup and it didn't disappoint. Seemed to have even more oxtail than usual. Kids loves the chili and the Korean fried chicken. Service was fast despite having a large party. Really like how they have the removable wall so the family can feel like they are sitting together.

The service at the location is fine. I am not happy with the food experience. While Zippy's expands to other states, it seems the quality of their food continues to disappoint. It's bad enough the prices are high and they charge a kitchen fee but the food isn't even enjoyable anymore. Ordered a zip pac and everything was so dry it was hard to swallow. The Teri beef had no sauce, the spam was fried dry and the rice was extremely dry! The chicken was undercooked also. Chili was decent but tastes no better than the frozen version. I'm a local and want to support local but I also want the local company to support local people as well and know that in order for this to be win/win for both sides, they need to keep quality consistent.

The auntie that was serving us was so nice and friendly. Her attitude and love for her job made our experience that much better. This was the first time we had ever stepped in to a Zippy's despite it being a super local establishment. We wanted to try the food out ourselves as we heard they have local comfort food.. it did not disappoint. It's not the most cost-friendly place even though it's a "fast food" joint, I love the array of foods they offer. Their locations are all around the island and they even have some foods sold in Costco too. The Kailua location is big as they have a huge dining area. Parking is ample, but can get packed during peak times.
