Ka Hale Ho'āla Hou No Nā Wāhine is a community-based work furlough program dedicated to empowering women to successfully transition from prison back into the community. Through this program residents learn the skills needed to set and accomplish attainable goals, build resiliency, learn to manage emotions, handle difficult situations, navigate relationships and make positive changes. In an effort to eliminate the inclination to return to criminal behavior residents are provided the support necessary to gain and sustain employment needed for successful community reentry. *Studies on recidivism show that former offenders who are not re-incarcerated for at least two years after being released from their sentence are unlikely to recommit crimes.Ka Hale Ho'āla Hou No Nā Wāhine has help so many women to not only successfully transition back into the community, but with transitioning back into their children's lives. Thank you Ka Hale Ho'āla Hou No Nā Wāhine for caring about so many women who needed your support and understanding to make a better life for themselves and their little ones.

This place is nice and far as other occupants and enviorment. The place within itself is fairly clean. However I've stayed in several rooms here before and they are very dusty!!! Which makes my asthma act up. There's spider webs. The ceiling fans are dirty. They don't have these rooms cleant before they just start putting people in! Make sure EVERYTHING IS WIPED DOWN N SANITIZED ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK IF ROOM IS NOT IN USE! When I had to clean my ceiling fans. They were absolutely discusting. A lot of things here need to be fixed!!!
