Yummy Huli Huli Chicken

Best chicken ever, sides were okay. When we went back to get another whole chicken for the road, it was sold out (for good reason). I was pleasantly surprised, and this was the best food I've had in Honolulu.

Great roadside stop. Cooking up chicken right in the parking lot, you know it has to be good. Had the chicken and teriyaki beef. And they are right, it was yummy!

I go around the island frequently and of course, when we're on the Kaneohe side, we see this in the corner all because of that big smoke. Why wouldn't u stop by right?Well, they were really friendly. The chicken was really piping hot because they served it to us from rotisserie grill to our table. I really really wanted to like it..... but when you think huli huli chicken - for me I think kiawe smoked flavored chicken. This wasn't that. This one had some type of star anise Chinese style flavor to it. I felt like I'd rather go to Chinese restaurant to get that. I was looking for huli huli chicken. This was a no for me.

Cooking up some of the best chicken right out front. The beef and shell on shrimp are phenomenal as well! Great sides, they close at 4 and if you go too late they will run out of chicken. Attached to a gift shop so you can look around while you wait.

Wow this place was so good! We came here after kualoa ranch and the Huli chicken plate was delicious. Chicken was tender and the sauce that it came with was so good! It cost $1 for extra sauce so make sure you use it sparingly lol. Mac salad was also super good, I had to order an extra side of one. There's a lot of space inside with tables and it was a comfortable meal. I would definitely come back for this next time.

Stopped by for some lunch after zip lining at Kualoa Ranch before driving back to Oahu. Prices were reasonable. Ordered half chicken with double rice and garlic shrimp with the shell on. Great portion sizes and flavor. Staff were friendly.They also have a gift shop and jewelry in the shop. Would recommend to anyone in the area. They offer military discount which is always appreciated. Definitely check this place out!

I was riding my motorcycle around the north shore and I passed several chicken places that smelled delicious and made up my mind to stop at the next one....and it was a gem. I was aLittle worried bc it was empty but I got in line and no joke all of a sudden the line jumped behind me by 20. It's a DDD type of ambiance with the restaurant in the back of a gift shop. The food was out of this world tho! The chicken was super juicy, the skin was flavorful with smoke and spices, and just the right texture. What a find!

came here for lunch and had hoped for it to be a quick lunch. We ordered 5 entrees and it came kind of slower than expected. Nonetheless a must stop for us. FYI, they like to wait for the entire to be done to call your number, so if you want your food as they are ready, be sure to let them know.parking is limited albeit inside dining is plenty of room. We luckily scored a parking spot and lined up to order. Entrees are all large portion and very good to share for 2 people.The huli huli chicken is juicy and tender, the sauce that comes with it brightens up the flavors. Unfortunately, the rice was kind of over watered so it is too wet and mushy. The garlic shrimp without shell is my favorite, fresh and has a bitey texture. Not listed on yelp is their kahlua pork - it is decent and juicy/tender. Not overly salted. The mac salad is delicious. We ordered a pineapple "juice" (written as such on the menu), but it was pineapple soda. Unfortunately my kiddo does not like bubbly drinks so it was quickly abandoned and it is just mostly sugary taste.Would definitely return in the future

Today I bought a whole Huli Huli chicken to take home and was asked whether I'd like them to chop it up, I said yes. Along with a Huli Huli chicken plate which we ate there they gave me another platter inside a plastic bag which I believed was my whole Huli Huli chicken. Wrong, when I got home I found only parts of a Huli Huli chicken which was clearly not a whole chicken. Very angry that they ripped me off like this.

Starting with the Huli Huli Chicken, it was so moist and tender nonetheless the flavor from the marinade was a 10/10. I've had Kalua Pork from different places and they're either on the drier side or lacked flavor but at this location the Kalua Pork was also moist and perfectly salted. Now, the Mac Salad. I just want to say they did really good with the Mac Salad. I love a restaurant that cares about how their Mac Salad tastes like. You know if the Mac Salad is good then the food is going to taste even better. Since we were the first customers when they opened the service was fast and the food took about 10-15 minutes to come out; not a complaint btw. I would definitely recommend this place.
