Yoonyson Korean BBQ

This is my favorite Korean BBQ place on the Windward side. My favorite is their meat jun + fish jun combination plate with no rice so I get an extra vegetable. We make our own rice at home. We also like to add a few more mondoo to the plate. They give so much food that my husband and I get two meals out of it so it is definitely worth it.

Zero stars. Don't ever come here. Called to make a phone order. The man said 10mins. We got there in 15 mins and waited for a hour for 1 mandoo kooksoo! Never again

Small establishment in the Kaneohe Shopping center flanked by other Asian food eateries. Very friendly cashier. The portions are ample and they had a steady stream of customers for a weekday noon. We share a BBQ meat and BBQ chicken plate for 21.90. It came with a choice of four sides and 1 scoop of rice or another side with no rice. I like the variety of banchan available- shout potatoes, chop char noodles, cabbage, cucumber, won book and daikon kimchee, shredded daikon, egg, tofu, mayo potato, fried zucchini, etc. I had my own hydroflask of water but as the cashier circulated the dining room, she offered to refill my water. Now that's the ultimate hospitality!!'n

It was good, but the prepared food was amazing volume. Too bad it was burnt. But I don't know if I'll go next time.

The best Korean food on the Kaneohe side! The food is always consistent & the quality is very good & they always fill up your boxwith plenty of sides & your entree!Always a treat to eat or take out @ Yoonysoon!Service by the one lady staff out front has been always pleasant& efficient. The guys in the kitchen are hard at work preparing your food!Highly recommend if you need to cater! Excellentfood @ reasonable cost! We'll worth it & your guest we'll be pleased! You can eat in to, as they have limited tables! Highly recommend Yoonsoon!!

Got the BBQ Chicken plate with all vegetables (choice of 5). Selected the Kim Chi, cucumber, long rice, shoyu potato, & bean sprouts. Banchan was generally good and portion sizes decent. BBQ chicken was dry and stringy and I'm not sure why. It took them a while to prepare it was presumably fresh but it tasted reheated or I guess just overcooked? It came with 3 pieces. No skin which is a negative for me. It needed sauce to help with the dryness but they charge $0.25 for each sauce. I wouldn't get the BBQ Chicken again.

No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. The kalbi and BBQ meat are my number one picks. They have a variety of vegetables, which are included in your plates (4 items to pick). Just writing this review, think I'm going to have some Korean food today. The staff is very friendly and always smiling.

This is the best Korean bbq on the island!!!!! I MEAN IT!!! Every time I come to visit my boyfriend I make sure to come here at least 3x because I've never tried bbq like this!! HUGE PORTIONS

Burnt rice..."hidden" in both plates purchased--sandwiched together to hide the flat, hard brown sides, which leads me to believe this was done purposely, by hand, as not how rice scoopers typicallywork. Nothing more to say. This is the rice and vegetables that comes with soup, so absolutely NO marinated meat in the plate (kalbi, BBQ beef etc). So gross and unacceptable. My son's kalbi plate also had burnt brown, hard, flat rice in his plate.

Beef, veggies and sides way too salty. Haven't come here for about a year after same problem of over salted food. Overpowers the natural taste of the food. Decided to try them again to see if things have changed. Same saltiness. Go to other Korean places in Kaneohe for better taste and quality.
