Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt

Just go out the door of the food court , take a right and it's two doors down...Oh but just FYI,,, there is no tables inside so it's more of a grab and go spot ... so we got our order and enjoyed it upstairs by the fish ponds.

I went to Yomie's a while back under the recommendation of one of my patients. They're known for their purple rice yogurt, which is similar in quality to boba drinks, but more sticky and chewy in quality in my opinion.Unlike traditional boba shops, the drinks (i think more like desserts) served here are thick, creamy and a bit tart like you'd expect a frozen yogurt stand to be. There were a large selection of flavors to choose from, and multiple sizes. There were add on options for traditional boba, popping jelly, and even azuki beans, making the drinks very customizable.We had the mango and ube rice yogurts, which were both delicious! Not too sweet and made with fresh fruits/ingredients. Prices were a bit steep, but they do offer a rotating flavor of the week, which is a little more affordable.

We visited Yomie's after dinner to grab some drinks and tried the lychee yogurt with mochi and a classic milk tea with boba.The lychee yogurt drink was on the tart side, which is expected with yogurt based drinks and it was just okay. The star of this drink was definitely the mochi, I liked the texture and it paired well with the yogurt.As for the milk tea, it was a bit underwhelming. The flavor was rather bland, lacking the richness or sweetness I normally expect from a good milk tea. The biggest downside was the boba. Unfortunately, they were hard and not as chewy as they should be. Overall, Yomie's drinks were just okay. If I were to go back, I'd probably try a purple rice drink.

I've bought your boba milk tea two or three times, and I've noticed an issue with the boba each time. I initially thought it was just a one-time accident, but the bobas are consistently very hard, and when I bite into them, they seem undercooked. I'm not sure if the bobas weren't cooked properly or if they've been sitting out for too long. You really need to improve the quality of your boba :(

Love the purple rice yogurt drink and the lychee yogurt with mochi drink. We opted for less sweet and it was perfect with a light tartness. The storefront is located adjacent to the Makai Food Court facing the parking lot. There's no seating but you can take your drink across the street and enjoy it with an ocean view. Drinks are made to order and came out quickly. Also recommend their yummy, creamy garlic bread. Try the original and ube!

Been here multiple times and they never failed me. I love their drinks here so much that I kept coming back. Prices are reasonable and the space is so cute. Almost every corner it's so artistic.Amongst my favorite drinks are mango purple rice yogurt, ube purple rice yogurt, dragon fruit yogurt & their peach yogurt. They have the best purple rice yogurt in my opinion.Customer service is good and they were nice in here. Waiting time for your drink varies. It also depends if they got lots of customer and most of the time they got a long line which form from the outside.The only thing that I don't like coming here is parking. There are many instances that I want to grab drinks here but didn't went through coz parking is so tough, like really challenging. They only got street parking and most of the time it is occupied but other than that their drinks are pretty competitive. Hope they'll open one in a mall or a foodcourt. I dont know what i was expecting but it was actually yogurt. Essentially drinking greek yogurt, not bad I enjoyed it. Shops a small order and go place on the roadside of the mall from the food court.

Yomie's is my top place for a drink that's gonna fill my empty stomach.The service is always so helpful and friendly that the staff can be sure to help you fix the cravings that you have with their plethora options and flavours.You can usually expect a queue outside the door during the massive lunch rush or afternoon snack on a weekend but when you go right at the opening might be a more seamless mission in their cozy and colourful space :)
