I recommend visiting on a Sunday. You won't have to be concerned by parking or construction! Even though I enjoyed the construction on my first visit, it offered me a chance to observe in a particular way that was nourishing for me. I wonder how regulars feel about that on most weekdays. If you bike or even catch the bus to practice you don't have to worry about bringing/renting a mat either. Leave your mat at home. Very cool! It's also pretty cool how your first class is free! And I wonder if she'll say cool one more time. They offer a two week intro trial if you enjoy your time. Which I feel is all very generous. They are making yoga very accessible. Very berry ____ !

Absolutely in love with YUTP's newest studio!! I used to go to their Kailua studio when I worked on that side and am so happy they have one in Kakaako! They also have a location in Kaimuki, but this one's a lot closer to me in town. :) Located right across from the UFC gym, parking is a drag but there's lots of street parking surrounding the area so you shouldn't much of an issue unless you're going during prime time. The entrance is to the left of the building (with your back to UFC) through a short walkway. There's a little patio area with lots of seating and an abundance of plants. One door leads to the cafe and the other door leads to the studio and shop where you check in. The shop has a bunch of cute clothes, trinkets, yoga supplies, and other trinkets to check out from local businesses. Once you step outside to the studio space, you're transported to this tranquil oasis that makes you forget that you're in the middle of the concrete jungle! In true YUTP fashion, the space is lined with palms and there's even a small little water fountain that just makes the space even more tranquil! Checked in with Kailani and she is just the sweetest and bubbliest person I've ever met. Courtney was my instructor and she too, was very sweet! its been a while since I've done yoga but Courtney's class was easy to follow along and flow with. she also had a great playlist that she kindly shared with me after class.I went for an evening class so I wasn't able to visit the cafe they have, but I will be back again soon to check it out along with other classes. :)

love yoga under the palms! Every location has something unique and special about itJust tried Ariel yoga for the first time, and was a bit intimated signing up but as soon as I got there I was SO COMFORTABLE! Kailani was such a ball of joy and laughter making everyone's inner child come out.Highly recommend an Ariel yoga class or any other classes there :)Thanks Kailani

Stopped by on my last day in Oahu for Stephanie's Flow+ class and had a lovely practice. Steph lead a great sequence with clear cues and adjustments. The studio is so lush and peaceful. I also enjoyed their selection of items in the store (especially the thrifted items!). Definitely recommend :)

Tried the free community yoga class led by Summer. Their new location is convenient for those in town. Parking is a bit difficult as only street metered for now and may have to walk a few blocks. 'The Wild' class was fun and challenging. There was yoga, dancing, weights, free movement, self reflection, and vocal expression. A nice semi outdoor spot for yoga with nice people.

Awesome yoga place in Kaka'ako. Perfect walking or distance for those who work in town. If you're driving, your best bet to park is street parking at Mother Waldron Park.

I have just started my Yoga journey. Today I had a class at Yoga Under the Palms with Corrine. It was a great class even though I am a beginner, Corrine made me feel comfortable and talk me through the positions. It was a wonderful experience and for anyone wanted to try something new, don't be intimidated! It was great and I am so glad I took the first steps! Loved Corrine's class, hope I can find her in the evenings or on weekend at Kaka'ako. Lovely studio and great instructor!!
