YETI Honolulu

I was apprehensive calling the store and then going in person considering the negative reviews on Yelp. My experiences with this Yeti store is entirely different. I received a wonderful but gigantic Yeti cooler for my birthday from a close friend that was shipped to me. We couldn't keep it due to its size and we doubted we would use it much. I called the store and left a message. The morning manager returned my call promptly and was pleasant and quick to confirm that since I had proof of purchase through an email, I could come in and exchange or get store credit. When I went to the store - at night, due to a long work day, the workers greeted me warmly and directed me to an employee that could help me with what I needed. Longer story short, I exchanged the gigantic Roadie 60 for a more useable Roadie 24 and two Hopper Flip 12. Mahalo for everything

You would think a big corporate company like YETI would offer a better return / exchange policy. NOPE!!! You can get a gift receipt when you purchase something to give as a gift. But when someone tries to return the item, you have to use the value right at that moment. They do NOT offer any refunds or merchandise credit of any kind. Basically, once you buy something from them, they have your money no matter what. It's enough for me to never shop there again!

I purchase Yeti products as corporate gifts and have spent thousands of dollars on these products over the years. I thought it'd shop at the Yeti store in Ala Moana this time so I could work directly with a sales associate versus ordering online. Sadly, this was one of the worst retail experiences I've had in a very long time. I arrived when the store opened in the morning, so there were just a handful of customers inside. Besides the greeter saying "Hi", no one asked if I needed any assistance beyond that. The employees looked actually angry and tired. I asked an associate a question and she literally looked at me for 15 seconds without saying anything at all. Maybe I disturbed her opening up boxes?It's sad because I would have easily purchased all of my corporate gifts from Yeti again this year, but after this reception and treatment, I am not shopping here again.

Yeti is here!!Not the creature but the flask we've all grown to love and its store is finally here in Ala Moana Center 3rd level right above the Centerstage woohoo!!Who knew they had so many other products including bags, storage and outdoor/camping equipment and yes even apparel. This spacious shop has that and I enjoyed browsing everything they have, as all things new we do tend to flock over and get curious and this is something everyone will enjoy making it a welcome addition to the mall.Yes it's absolutely brand new so giving the staff a break as it's management that should set the grand opening tone but for excitement but as it seems quite overwhelming what Yeti could've done is staff it more heavily but then again the nation is quite short staffed so I'm not going there at the moment and see what it will be like once it settles.I did not purchase anything yet as I've been blessed to have gifted several Yeti items and are still in great condition so I'm patiently waiting for promotion or the holiday season deals to kick in but am so happy to have them here as the options are incredible.Thank you!

Wow! I can't believe Yeti finally opened their own store in Hawaii. They took over the location where Morphe cosmetics used to be. Their tumblers and cups are really popular. Select stores at the mall carry their merchandise. it's nice that they now have their own store that also sells bags, apparel and coolers. I got there right when they opened at 10am. There were about five or six of us waiting. Service was mediocre. I was looking around, but non of the employees approached me to offer any help. There was this male associate just standing there and just watched me walk out the door without saying a thing to me. I'll give them a pass as they just opened a few days ago.

Leave it up to the magicians who manage Ala Moana to bring in yet another hot biz!Located on level three in the former Uniqlo pop-up, it's a spacious footprint showcasing their handful of merch. It's great to be able to see and touch the products in person versus looking at pics online. My only gripe is that there weren't posted prices. They're hidden inside of the products, forcing you to open lids and zippers. Very inconvenient. Having a small price & product detail sign on the respective shelves would be so much easier. I didn't buy anything as I wasn't in the market for it at the time. After the fact, I needed to replace my acrylic insulated coffee cup that started to leak but ended up buying a 25 oz. Yeti Rambler on Amazon, LOL. OVERALL:Nice addition to the largest outdoor mall in the world!

New store at Ala Moana. Don't bother going! No prices as previous reviews say. If you want to buy Yeti merchandise, go to other retailers and give the local businesses your monies!!!Store seems so high tech like the Apple store with no cash registers!Wanted to return a Yeti item that my daughter received for Christmas. Since it was just a water bottle with no insulation, why would she want/keep it!The manager would not give merchandise credit cause I did not have receipt despite saying it was a gift! He later exp!aimed to me that it was a promotional giveaway during Christmas! Really?!!! How stupid of Yeti, to not mark the free promotional item versus the merchandise customers bought!! If you are so "high tech", couldn't Yeti figure out a way to not confuse the 2??!Yeti is such a strong brand, you should accept all returns merchandise to keep customers happy! Meant to write this review shortly after they opened the store. I love yeti cups and flasks. Not only to use for myself but to give as gifts. With their new, very popular purple color, I was super happy to find everything in cosmic lilac inside!They have all their merchandise nicely displayed by colors and style of item. From small cups, flasks in all sizes, coolers and bags. Merch I didn't even realize they made are in this store. Located on the third level right next to center stage area. If you are on the mall level, go up the escalators on the left side of where the stage seating is and it's on your left. Previously, it was where Morphe used to be. So why the 3 stars instead of 5... purely service. No one greeted any of us, even though we all purchased multiple items. There is no pricing on the items. You'll either need to know off hand based on style and size or scan the QR code to look it up. Since no worker asked if any of us needed help, we had to become the worker. There's no real register area but there was a young man standing next to a table top in the middle section ringing folks up with a mobile device. Might just continue purchasing online or through other surf shops unless it's a color or style only at this storefront.

Bad customer service and the worth return policy. I have to deal with a warranty and shipping after buying damaged item. I wish I read the reviews prior going to this store.

I love yeti but the workers and the layout of the store kind of suck. I walked into the empty store, there were four workers and none of them greeted me or asked if i needed assistance. I was just looking for a cooler but the products were so unorganized and mixed. It seemed like they organized by color and not item type/size. The ice packs were on two opposite ends of the store, the cups were mixed in everywhere, as was everything else. I wandered back and forth throughout the store trying to compare cooler sizes because they were spread throughout 4 diff parts of the store all while the workers ignored me but i found one i was ok with.
