Xpresso Cafe & Mini Mart

Snack time in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii...I was driving down Dillingham Boulevard when this cafe caught my attention. There was no First To Tip for the business, so I thought that I should investigate...Xpresso Cafe & Mini Mart is located at a small strip mall on the corner of Kalihi Street and Dillingham Boulevard. The shared parking might be tight at times because of the hair salon and medical clinic next to it, but I was able to get free parking easily. Service was different because I was taking photos while being observed. There was no menu posted, so I had to ask what was available. The worker pointed at the menu boards that displayed "no signal". That's too bad. I wanted to order something, but I didn't know what they had. I asked for a smoothie - what kind of flavors are there? She mentioned honeydew, strawberry with banana, and lychee. I chose the Dragonfruit and expected a different color. She said that they didn't have boba... okay... it tasted alright and saved me from dehydration... LOL!Well, it was an awkward experience. I wandered around the convenience store side, but I wasn't intrigued.Maybe next time, the menu board will be working. I saw a photo of a chicken club sandwich that looked good... and supposedly, Boar Head products are used here.

I was so excited to try this new cafe and I finally did! I'm so glad to have a cafe near my work place because I'm always looking for coffee and it's a short walking distance. I ordered the iced mocha latte which comes with 2 espresso shots and in one sized cup. Very chocolatey. I was surprised with what's on their menu. There were also a lot of pastries displayed on the counter and I will definitely get one next time. Parking may be a little difficult as they are sharing it with other businesses in the same lot.

Food: The sandwich was tasty but the meat/filling to bread ratio was scarce for $13. The bread was soft and fresh.Service: The cashier was nice; soft spoken. The person that made the sandwiches was friendly. There was another employee that gave us "vibes" though and not the good kind. So don't think we'll be returning. Ambiance: A bit gloomy. A lot of space because not much "convenience-store" items offered but there are canned and bottled drinks, cup ramen, spam musubis, chips and candy. They also have coffee drink, smoothies, boba drinks, a few salads and desserts to name a few: mini bundt cakes, scones, ube desserts...

I was so excited when my husband asked me to pick a place for him to pick up lunch for us because I immediately thought of this cafe . I sent him the directions and he arrived which he was greeted rudely and brushed off by the male employee working today at approximately 1 pm . He was standing at the counter and no one was there for about 5 mins he waited again and finally a worker came out that was not helpful at all I asked my husband to see what the daily special was when the worker responded he said "what daily special idk what your talking about " . He rolled his eyes at my husband and muttered something underneath his breathe. Seems like this place is more for the vape than the cafe . No stars and won't be coming back . Don't waste your time here got to Machetes which is really awesome sandwich shop down the road at dillingham and have great customer service !!

I remember getting super excited when this place first opened because there weren't many great choices for convenience stores within walking distance of my house.These guys have fantastic food, with reasonable prices, and all of the employees are super friendly and treat you like family. The coffee can be a little pricey for the portion, but I'm also saying that as a giant dude with a well conditioned caffeine toleranceThey also have any toiletry that you might need in a pinch, a great snack selection, and smoking and vape accessories to meet your need.Great addition to the neighborhood, A+, highly recommended.

Not your average convenience store. They offer delicious coffee, boba drinks, flat bread pizza and sandwiches all for an average of $10

absolutely love this place! The pastrami slammer is the best and their drinks are good, except the boba balls are always undercooked...

Highly recommend!! Good food! Good people and cheap eats!!! Hopefully more people come here because this place is a gem!

Tried this place because it's super close to my office. Very worth it! Check them out and give them business! They have ono, home made spam musubi and banana bread, along with croissants, croissant sandwiches and desserts (scones, etc.)!

This place caught me by surprise! Decided to step in and see what they had to offer because I didn't want to fight the morning traffic into downtown to get my favorite Americano. The one here is just as good and more reasonably priced. I was surprised they had Boar Head offerings too! Will surely be back more regularly now, I live very close by!
