This is my go-to Chinese restaurant. I've been going here for years so there might be some biased opinions here lol but they did have new owners take over a few years ago and they renovated and changed things over the years and the price may have risen a bit but the quality of the food is still great in my opinion. The service is good as well. Just look at the photos I take of the yummy food. I'm a beef broccoli lover and here I love the way they make it, especially when it's cooked well done (soft). I love the crispy gau gee over cake noodle, their char siu egg fuyong, cold ginger chicken and their shrimp canton. You can really go wrong with those picks, oh and their char siu fried rice I love to dine in and I always bring my favorite people here to eat because the portions are good as well. I gave this place 5 stars, because I truly do love this place and I do eat here quite often. The food is great, the prices or moderate, it's spacious, you can order takeout or dine in and the service is always good and quick!

Phone ordered from here on Chinese New Year and my order did take a little longer than they originally told me, as expected though because of the holiday. Their prices have definitely gone up since the last time I ordered from here a couple years ago but still on the cheaper side compared to other restaurants. I ordered crispy gaugee mein, honey walnut shrimp, steamed ginger fish & black bean spareribs which came out to a little over $50. The west side does not have many choices as far as Chinese food goes & it's not the best but this place is always decent. I've never eaten inside before but it is spacious & there's a good amount of parking.

Wong Kung is a decent family-run local Chinese Restaurant with reliably good standard family-style Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. Conveniently located in a strip mall near the Waipahu Skyline rail station, it's a good place to pick up dinner when cooking is not an option. Staff are always pleasant.

This spot is a a Gem. The staff was amazing. The gentleman answered all of our questions and took time to explain menu items to us as it was our 1st time here. The food was sooo delicious! I got Mongolian beef with white rice and a side of crab ragoon. My husband got a chicken soup. The food was soo flavorful and the portions were great. Great for families too. We will definitely be back

The only good thing on my plate was the gay gee and fried won tons. The roast duck was dry and old. The brocolli chow mein was tasteless. The restaurant has changed owners several times since Mike used to own it 18+ years ago. The inside of the restaurant is cleaner but the quality of the food has gone down dramatically. You can find better. Best Chinese restaurant in Waipahu is Kunia Chinese Restaurant.

This is one of the places I go to for Chinese food in the leeward area. It has been under new management for a little while now. The old owner Michael was so nice and friendly and always took care of us. The food was always delicious. Everything tasted really good and portions were great.I was really sad to see that the restaurant was under new management. The new staff is friendly. We ordered the food, it seemed a little the same (maybe they have the same cooks?), but I also noticed that the prices went up.I usually order their:- wor won ton mein (clear tasty broth with pork won tons, char sui, and vegetables)- dry beef chow fun (great flavor and soft noodles) - roast duck (crispy skin and soft meat)- beef brocolli (great flavor in the sauce, firm veggies, & tender beef)Athough prices went up, they are still fairly reasonable.

Wong Kung is open for dining-in. Dining room updated and new menu. Lunch special menu revised with mostly rice dishes and now priced at $8.99; $1 upcharge for chow mein noodles.Service was good. Watch the bill: 15% tip automatically added. Was turned off by the restroom: no toilet paper. A couple of paper napkins were laid nearby. Hope this was an anomaly, as this is not a good reflection of the regard for their customers. The

Wonderful women chefs prepared our party platters. Gaugee, Mongolian beef, walnut shrimp and other tasty dishes. Greeted us with a smile, made it fresh, and even helped my 82 year young mom carry out to the car. Thank you ladies. Spot on flavor. Mahalo.
