Windward Snow Shave Ice

What a great treat during a track meet to be honest!! I discovered Windward Snow at the Ruby Tuesday Track Meet at Moanaloa High School this weekend and wow... it hit different Whoever thought about having shave ice for the concessions, it's a great idea I ordered a large shave ice with 4 flavors, blue vanilla, banana, coconut, and lime. It was such a treat on such a hot day. The service was also amazing! The uncles at the booth made me feel at home (as I'm not from O'ahu), but traveling from the neighbor island of Maui. They really made me feel welcomed to O'ahu, especially the track meet. It was awesome! So glad to have met the uncles and got a chance to eat their shave ice too

On a hot, sunny day, nothing hits the spot like shave ice. I'm always so happy to see Windward Snow out at events because I know that the flavors are great (sweet, but not too sweet!) and the ice is perfect. Cannot go wrong!

Pat was so awesome! I reserved Windward Snow Shave Ice as a vendor for our company picnic to serve shave ice to our 60 employees. Pat was not only super kind, but he was VERY RESPONSIVE! He replies very quickly through email, and text. On the day of our reservation, he got there early and immediately started to set up his stand all by himself. He truly was a one-man show. He had a tent, generator, his shave ice machine, cups, straws, spoons, AND HIS HOMEMADE SYRUPS! Yes, homemade. I noticed while I was eating my shave ice that it was less sweet, which I loved! I later found out that he made his syrup on his own! He had 10 flavors (coconut, lychee, grape, lime, pineapple, bubblegum, strawberry, vanilla, root beer, and banana) and even provided optional syrup or lihing mui powder toppings! In total, I paid $450 for 3 hours of shaved ice service to our 60 employees. I definitely will be asking for Pat for our future events. We had the best experience! He's not only a successful business owner, but after having some conversations, he also gives back to the community. So much respect for Pat and this business!

While planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to serve a memorable and unique dessert other than just wedding cake. I initially found a different company but they were out of my budget and weren't willing to travel to our venue. With about only one month until our wedding, I was frantically searching high and low for a mobile shave ice service and that's when I found Windward Snow on Yelp. Although there weren't many reviews, the few that were published were glowing. I decided to message Patrick and he was extremely helpful and accommodating of my tight deadline. After an initial kick-off call, I discovered Windward Snow is a local family business ran by Pat and his sons. Pat worked directly with my wedding coordinator to help alleviate the stress which was much appreciated! I voiced to Pat that I wanted to offer additional toppings to help elevate the dish and he was willing and eager to accommodate my special request. Pat is very personable, professional and friendly. Many of our guests said the shave ice was their favorite part of the wedding. Unlike some of our other vendors, Pat was extremely responsive which is exactly what we needed since we were planning a destination wedding and were on a tight deadline! We reached out to a few shave ice vendors and Windward Snow was the most reasonable! If you have an upcoming special event (wedding, birthday, corporate celebration, etc.), I definitely recommend working with Pat and his sons! Not only do they serve incredible soft shave snow with homemade tropical syrups, but they're so kind, friendly and accommodating!

We hired Windward Snow for my Daughter's First Birthday Party. Out of all the shave ice/ice cream vendors I contacted, they had the most reasonable price for two hours of unlimited shave ice with 10 flavors and condensed milk as a topping. Not only was the price great, but the shave ice was delicious!Pat was also really great to work with and very charismatic. He helped serve bentos and cupcakes in his down time and even went around before he wrapped things up to see if anyone wanted any last minute shave ice. Needless to say, I would highly recommend using his services at your next event!

Friendly, professional team served up super fine and delicious shave ice for an event. Syrups are made in-house and are delicious! Highly recommend!

The best shave ice folks in Hawaii!!! I first met them during Chinese New Year several years ago. They had a booth in Chinatown. The shave ice was delicious, then I found out that they do catered events. I hired them to do my sons pre-wedding party at Waialae Country Club. The event was out on the lawn near the swimming pool. They brought all of their own equipment including their generator. They arrived on time, properly dressed, with all the equipment, ice, and supplies needed. They set up quietly and professionally. The generator was nice and quiet. All of the guests were thrilled to be able to eat as much shaved ice as they wanted and it was delicious!My next opportunity to have them was for our family reunion which was held at ala Moana park. They brought their tent and again all of their equipment supplies and paper goods. Dressed for fun on time they professionally provided all the shave ice everyone can eat. There were at least 100 people at that event. Until today my family recalls that event especially the shaved ice. I can highly recommend Winward snow for any event you might have including pre-wedding parties, family reunions, birthday parties, graduation parties, or just because.

We love Patrick and Windward Snow Shave Ice! Weve booked him twice, once back in 2017 for my sons 5th birthday party, and just recently at my kids end of year school party (May 2022). At our school party, Patrick helped make "mini" shave ice treats for a little under 100 students (plus for teachers and parents). He was prompt, on-time, quick, and handled the set-up, making of shave ice, breakdown all by himself. The quality of his shave ice is always the best (soft, fine, not hard and icey), and the shave ice flavors are super tasty! Patrick is wonderful to work with - responsive, good communication, and provides excellent customer service. He is a package deal - great service and superb shave ice! For next party/event, I will definitely call up Patrick at Windward Snow. Mahalo Patrick!

When the sun beats down, there's nothing quite like shave ice to cool you off. Whenever I spot Windward Snow at an event, it's an instant mood lifter. Their flavors are spot on--just the right amount of sweetness--and the texture of the ice is unbeatable. Trust me, you won't regret it!
