Wild Bunch Sport Fishing

I Just wanna thank Chris and Bobby you guys are professionals you made us all feel like family and I'm definitely gonna go out wth you guys when I come back, I fish a lot in California, Mexico, and now Hawaii. Mahalo my brothas.

Captain Mike is a great host! He gave me family a good deal for the amount of people that went on the trip. We didn't catch any big fish but Capt. Mike was nice enough to let us go bottom fishing where we caught three tropical fishes! His crew member was very positive, informative and overall good vibesnI'd def go again!

We just came back from a family trip to Honolulu (July 2022) and one of the highlights of the trip was having our guys take a private charter with Wild Bunch Sport Fishing. From booking to returning back on the dock, Captain Mike and the crew were amazing, easy to communicate with, and they truly went above and beyond. Our father needed special mobility assistance and they made sure that it was done safely. Our group was made of complete newbies to fishing overall, and the crew was fantastic with explaining to them and working with them to have a great time. My 8 year old nephew was able to reel in the first couple of fish that day -- they had caught several mahi-mahi during the trip, so everyone had the chance to reel in fish if they wanted to. The waves were pretty large that day, and the Wild Bunch crew was super in tune with how members of our group was feeling with their motion sickness (despite having taken Dramamine), especially my nephew, whom they checked in on to see how he was doing. Back on land, they had so many great things to say about the trip and the crew -- I am so grateful of how they took care of my family as if they were part of theirs too. Mahalo!

Mike and Clint were just as excited to bring in the fish as much as I was! They were helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I got 2 Mahi Mahi, and another guy on the boat caught a Mahi almost 50 pounds!Good time!

Captain Mike and Chip will put in the work and fish hard for you, but bites aren't guaranteed. 8 hrs of fishing and we caught our fill of a common type of jack...aka a fat load of jack s**t. Still, had an enjoyable time on the water as the boat is super nice, weather was perfect, and I enjoyed chatting with the crew about life and fishing as we waited for the bite that never came. Checked back with them before I left the island and they ended up with some nice Ono the next two days, so just wrong day for our group.For those not experienced in this type of fishing: trolling isn't the most exciting type of fishing, especially if the bite isn't hot. However, you're hunting the fish of a lifetime, so know going in it's high risk/high reward with a lot of waiting and wishing. Accept that you can get skunked, no matter how much you paid. Get some Bonine (water can get choppy out there), a SPAM musubi, crack a beer, and enjoy your time in paradise. If it's your day, it's your day. If not, that's fishing. If you want a more guaranteed catch, book a bottom fishing trip instead, catch some little fish, and save these guys from your complaining.

With some friends in town, I got to check off another item on my Hawaii bucket list by going deep sea fishing and it was a blast. While I wasn't lucky enough to get a bite, my friend caught a mahi mahi that became dinner (and boy does it taste better the day its caught) and a gentleman from Australia caught a 400lb blue marlin. The fight with the marlin was intense and everyone on the crew was super nice.

Wild Bunch was a great fishing experience. Boat and all areas were clean and easy to access. The Crew, Chip and Austin, were totally enjoyable, and easy to talk to and eager to answer any questions. Also very knowledgeable about the waters and island. We fished hard and although didn't hit it's important to know that Captain Mike was constantly in communication with the other boats to get us in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately the other boats were also not hitting either. But the Captain and Crew never gave up and near the end we hit Wahoo on the way back to harbor. We were one of the only boats to catch that day and we owe it all to the Captain and crew. Thanks Guys. I highly recommend this boat and crew for the knowledge and perseverance. I had a blast. Never been deep sea fishing before. It was more of a gift to my boyfriend. On a day that was pretty slow for other people I talked to (no fish), we managed to catch five. The crew are very friendly. Clint gave us a simple but amazing recipe to cook the mahi mahi we caught. He is a generations old real deal Local and super chill. I really liked Mike and Craig, too. They cared about giving us a great experience. It was so fresh and delicious. They filleted the fish for us. The boat was impeccably clean and comfortable. I will be doing this with them every time I come now. Just remember not to bring any glass or bananas when you pack your drinks and booze. I love it. My favorite day on this trip!

Went out with the Wild Bunch today and had a great time. Captain Mike, Rob and Bob made sure to make the experience fun and casual. Totally recommended!

I was fed Sashimi by Mike and he was very well educated and nice about all the topics we talked about. Sea sickness got to me a tad bit and I did and end up feeling it while we were on, but none the less it was pretty fun. We didn't catch that much until the very end of the trip when we got a Mahi Mahi. Overall, great crew and business run by these guys, if you're looking for who you should go sport fishing with, these guys definetly know what they're doing.
