Clear plate says it all.If I could eat the bones I would.Been to all the BBQ spots on island and this place is in a league of their own.

Perfect place to grab a plate and eat at a park while enjoying the view in Kaneohe! Since the dining room tables were nearly filled, I ordered takeout. I timed it, just for fun, and it came out in under 10 minutes! (8 minutes to be exact!)I ordered a 2-Choice Entree Plate with the Brisket and Pulehu, Brussels Sprouts and Mac n Cheese for the sides, and Spicy Guava Chili Sauce. The Brisket was juicy and tender. I could easily cut it with my fork; no knife needed! I loved how the Pulehu was already cut in perfect bite-size pieces! The depth of the smoky flavor was unmatched. They even included some pieces with the bone if you're into that.Moving onto the sides. The Brussel Sprouts were perfectly roasted and seasoned. I could eat a bucket of those and be happy. The Mac n Cheese was a little greasy, but it had a pleasant smoky flavor. The meats and sides were amazing, but my favorite thing was the sauce! I was a little skeptical at first because I was worried it would be too sweet, but that Spicy Guava Chili Sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. This sauce paired perfectly with everything!Stellar experience!! Something to look forward to the next time I'm back in Kaneohe!

Great food, good service. Highly recommended. We ordered the brisket ends & nachos as appetizers, both were delicious options.Entrees: Smoked lamb & pale husband ribss with Mac & Cheese/Baked Beans, hit the spot.Ambiance was great, plenty of parking.

Food: We ordered a combo plate with brisket and ribs as well as a classic burger with parmesan garlic fries. Brisket was nice and fatty with nice smoke flavor. The ribs were a little too dry for me, but the best part of the plate was the Brussel sprout side. It was super flavorful and went well with everything. The burger was pretty good and the fries were awesome.Service: you just go up to the register and order your food then they bring it out to your seat.Ambiance: The decor and feel of the place seems to match a smoked meat restaurant. It's casual and anyone can feel comfortable coming in.Price: it is a little pricey but smoking meat takes a long time so it's understandable. Definitely worth a try and next time I wanna try the desserts.

Deliciously and well seasoned BBQ at Whiskey Smoke 808! I love that the meats are lean (not much fat) and sides were great. I didn't feel heavy when I was done. For two people, we ordered the 2 meat plate and two sides. Side portions coleslaw and potato Mac were small but it complemented the meat. Well seasoned!Service was friendly and took our order promptly. The ambiance was clean and tables were bussed quickly. There were cakes and cookies at the back counter if you have room for your sweet tooth!

Brisket is nice and juicy. Happened to be in the area and always wanted to give this place a try. Walking in you see a lot of military families. Probably looking for a taste of home. I ordered ala cart pork ribs, brisket loco moco and two sides, smoked Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Brisket loco moco was super worth it. The bowl has 3 pieces of brisket that I think are equal to 1.5 brisket slices and that's a lot for one person. Also with rice, an egg how you like it, and brown gravy. All at a good price since I'll see other places charge equal for two hamburger patties. Highly recommend! Brisket was juicy, smokey, and tender. Ribs were very smoked. Big ribs with a lot of meat. Not as juicy as other ribs I've had, but still good. Smoked Mac and cheese was cheesy, but not smokey. Well, it might have been but since I was eating so much smoked food, the Mac and cheese didn't stand out as smoked. Coleslaw was good. Thinly sliced cabbage and balanced out the fattiness of the brisket. Good service and plenty of parking and seating inside.

I was craving some BBQ so we decided to go to Kaneohe to get some! ***What I got ~ **Mixed Plate Meat (8.5/10) ~ This was super filling, but I thought it was good! The brisket was VERY rich and the pork ribs were somewhat soft. As for the sausage I wasn't a huge fan of it. The casing was tough so it was somewhat weird to bite into. Other than that everything was great! Even the sides. **Burnt Ends (Pork) (10/10) ~ We were so sad that they sold out of the brisket burnt ends because we wanted to try both. But the pork was just as good! It was glazed in a sweet BBQ sauce and the pork just melts in your mouth. Honestly, I wish I just got 2 servings of the pork burnt ends and eat it with the sides. This could have been its own plate.Overall, I'd totally come back for the burnt ends it was so damn delicious. As for the BBQ meats, it was good, but wasn't surprising or great. If we could give .5 extra stars I would. Thus, Whiskey Smokes for me is a 4.5/5!

The bbq was really good and the service was fast. We ordered a lot of food and the prices were surprisingly fair. Highly recommend

Most of my Hawaiian BBQ experience has been relegated to roadside food stalls and trucks, so it was nice to see more accessible options. Great BBQ with good sized portions! But sometimes the menu can be limited.Parking can be a pain. We've actually left before to eat elsewhere because there were no stalls available. There isn't a lot of seating available in the restaurant so you may have to wait if they are busy.Service is usually okay. The staff is friendly enough. But they don't usually come to check on you throughout your meal.Everything we've ordered has tasted great! With the exception of the time we ordered the brisket nachos and the chips were stale. Last time we went, I was ono for the pulehu ribs but it was unavailable, along with quite a few other things on the menu. If there's a certain thing you're craving, you may want to call to ensure they have it that day.Overall, some delicious BBQ. Definitely recommend!
