Wet Feet Sports is an amazing local business which I couldn't recommend more. Not only do they have everything for your SUP and Foil needs they also teach lessons AND support the community in other ways which truly shows where their heart is. The owner Jeff is also the nicest guy, mahalo!

The best part about this shop is that they apply every rental toward the purchase of a board. This way, you can play with different board lengths and decide what you really want before you shell out a thousand bucks or whatever. And you can decided whether you are committed enough to do it.We rented from this this past weekend. We had no reservation but luckily there was a perfect board for me. Friendly owners, great prices. Even my father-in-law, notorious for thinking things are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE these days unlike the old days when ice cream was a nickel, though their prices were good. So you know they have fantastic prices. They also have cute things like sterling silver earrings of geckos and turtles for only $5 and some 80s earrings made out of surfboard resin. Bring some straps or bungee cords because you have to secure it yourself; the price, $30 for a half and $50 for a full day, I believe, are worth it.

Did the jet ski lesson for foiling. Just about the best time I've ever had. Jeff was great. Gave me more progress on the foil in 2 hours than I could have gotten in months on my own.

SUP BOARD RENTAL $30 = half day, $50 = full day, $70 = 24-hours (including paddle)What's great about Wet Feet is that they offer a rent-to-own a SUP program. I've rented a few times at Wet Feet and I have mix reviews about the service. Once, I was told to arrive at 9 to pick up the board but there was only one person working the counter. Apparently they told everyone to arrive at that time and I didn't get my board out the store until almost 10 a.m. For a half day (4 hours) rental, part of my hour was gone! Another time I went, I was helped quickly and I was out enjoying the rental in no time! The sales associate was super helpful when I asked him about the rent-to-own program, and suggested which board was best to rent/buy.Rental does NOT include roof racks and they do not offer board delivery. They do sell (not rent) roof racks. I guess you could call me a novice paddler so I usually take my board to Magic Island, Waikiki is crowded a sometimes choppy, or in the calm waters of Kailua. Others just take the boards to Koko Marina or Aina Haina areas. I don't know if I recommend this place for a quick rental. The location of the rental store isn't the best especially if you're renting it half a day. I rent here because of the rent-to-own program and I used a LivingSocial deal!

These guys kick ass for stand up! It is so cool to have a specialty shop like this in that mall! I've bought three standups from them...they always help you out with a good deal, and aunty always has a great smile...so does clarke...super good folks. If you rent a board, and you want to buy it, they will always throw the rental fee towards the board price...Man...I get so stoked that they are out there. Sometimes I head to aina haina side to surf, and I realize I have no leash or shorts in my car! Doh! Then I realize they are they there and breathe a huge sigh of relief! Help support this store and keep it alive! Otherwise, you are going to see my board coming your way without a leash, or I'm going to be out there surfing nude with my big 80s bush! ahahah

My friends and I have came in several times with their livingsocial deals to do a half-day standup paddle board rental. Every single time we run into a problem. Boards: They have a very small selection of rental boards available. My friends and I came in after another group and they gave them all the larger boards. They only have the very short boards left and we know we were not experienced enough to use them. The employee there made us take them anyways because we made a reservation for them.Service: The shop is never open on time. We would stand outside the store waiting for it to open at 10am on Sundays. They open the store late and it takes us 30 mins to get out of there, but they still start the clock on the rental at 10am. We always have to rush to get back to return the boards. The employee never wants to help us even just to hold the door open when 2 tiny girls are struggling to carry the boards to the car outside. Overall I give them a 2 star because it is fairly affordable with their livingsocial deals. However, I wouldn't recommend this place. This place is far from the water being at Aina haina. We usually go to Ala Moana and they don't rent any car racks for transportation, only sell them so that is definitely a downfall. Make sure you come prepared with transportation.

I was looking for someone who could take me to the next level with SUP lessons and Jeff at Wet Feet was just that person. Professional and friendly and gives just the right amount of advice. I have been paddling for 5 years plus but Jeff was able to help me add a different turning stroke to my game that makes turning much faster. He then took me out into the surf and I was able to really see improvement in my wave riding ability. We went out a second day and the contrast to day one showed up in the results 7 waves day one 15 plus day two, but as an added benefit Jeff took videos which allowed me to see for myself how best to apply Jeff's teachings. On top of all that Jeff is a pure joy to be with, just very chill, knowledgeable, and what I like to call warm hearted. Loved it, can't wait to go back.

I did the 9 mile Hawaii Kai downwind paddleboard run w Jeff Chang, an accomplished paddleboarder and patient, fun coach. We communicated prior to my visit to Oahu, and when the wind look promising, he recommended the day and time for ideal conditions. And knowing that the gear can make a big difference, Jeff took into account my size and experience to select the right board and paddle which worked out great. It was helpful to have someone with local info on swell and wind direction guiding the paddle, in addition to the tips on paddling technique and board control he provided during the run. Paddling in the shadow of Diamond Head for the last three miles was awe inspiring, and Jeff got some great shots of me with it as a backdrop!I can't recommend Jeff and Wet Feet enough if you're thinking of doing a downwind run, an awesome experience!
