Color correcting goggles - they have gear all the way from lower end to higher end. Great stuff for all levels.
Next to Dominos and Kailua Town Pub & Grill!
One of the best snorkels in the market, hands down.

Great selection of gear. Shane helped my girlfriend and I find exactly what we were looking for. He even drilled my dive knife to help attach it to my belt! Thanks again!

Best selection of gear in all of Kailua and Lanikai. Very spacious shop too. They just opened so the store is in top shape/super clean. If you're into snorkeling or spearfishing - this is the place to go. They have gear for all levels, from first timers to advanced. Tip - Don't snorkel or dive without sea gold gel!!! It's a must have!

Some of the best interactions I've had with the local tackle shops. A tackle shop if what we needed here in Kailua, and their selection in diving gear is absolutely insane. One of the first things they asked is if I had any recommendations on what to stock up there. They listen to their community and it feels great. Spread the word, they deserve it

I bought a mask and within an hour of purchase- I took it home and went to take the tag off and the strap completely split. I immediately went back when they re-opened and asked for a new mask with my receipt. The same person who helped me told me they won't accept it because it's used. I said it wasn't used, it's broken. He said they don't accept broken or used equipment and I'd have to buy a new strap. So I asked for a new strap. He said they don't sell the straps for my mask (which is 1/4 of their selection) and I'd have to order it online. So now I just spent $90 on a useless mask. NO THANKS. The receipt says they'll accept items within 45 days with a receipt. Which is a crock apparently.

I highly recommended not coming to this shop. I got a suit here this week to go diving. I was told a women's small would fit me. You can't try them on in store in case you puncture the suit (it happens easily) which I understand. First of all they didn't sell me a women's suit they sold me a MEN'S suit saying it was a women's. I went to go dive the next day, put it on and it was extremely tight, especially the breast and neck area. I'm assuming it is even more so than a women's since a small women would probably be shaped a little different to accommodate. I went back to see if I could get a size up, even just in the top part since the pants were wearable. That's the thing, I am a very reasonable person and the only reason I went in was because the top was not even wearable. I had to cancel my whole day of spear fishing because after 5 minutes of wearing it I felt like I couldn't breathe with the restriction around my chest. I went back in thinking they could do something for me. When I went in they told me it had two tiny puncture so they couldn't. Yes it did, I tried really hard to make it work and fit so I'm sure I punctured it with my nails. I figured since they told me I was buying a women's small and sold me a men's small they would make an exception. When I first went in to talk to the nice boy who worked there before I spoke with the manager, he didn't even believe me that he sold me a men's one. He thought he sold me the women's (he was the one who helped me the day I bought it) I had to show him the tag. At this point I've spent over $500 here and won't even be able to go spear fishing. They offered me a 40% discount on a new suit (they are like $400) since the kid told me he was selling me a women's. The least I was asking for was a bigger size top. I own a business and I get that policies are in place for a reason, but I also know when as a business owner you need to step up and correct a mistake. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Brand new to spearfishing, and needing help with fixing a gun I acquired, the staff helped me and instructed me on how to get my spearfishing gun safely set up and ready. They were professional, instructional, and very friendly. I highly recommend Westside Dive and Tackle

Best dive shop experience I've ever had. Shane and Ginger go above and beyond in customer service and are the friendliest people on the planet. I spearfish in California, but did not bring my gun with me to Oahu during a family trip. Decided once we got to Hawaii that I want to take a shot at 3 prong fishing, and checked out this dive shop. Tried to find a dive shop near our hotel in Waikiki, but they were either overpriced, did not answer their phone, or did not have the selection of spearfishing equipment I was looking for. Needed a 3 or 4 peice spear, so it could fit in my baggage on the way home, and Shane made sure I got the exact spear I wanted, that fit within my budget. Taught me the basics of how to hunt 3 -prong style, and got me all set with a buoy, weights, stringer, etc. Went out to a reef the next two mornings, and caught some hard-earned fish and fried them up for the most satisfying meal during our trip! Made an already great vacation unforgettable, wouldn't have been possible without the awesome help of Shane and Ginger.
