DISAPPOINTED! The curse of being born near Christmas. This place won't do a birthday cake in December. Baga to dame da yo. How inconsiderate! The cakes, cupcakes and cookies are delicious, made with quality ingredients, like buttercream and possibly lard. But forget ordering a birthday cake if you're born in December. Recommendation: Try A Cake Life in Mo'ili'ili, in the strip mall on S. King across Stadium Park and Yama's on the Young Street side. They are pricey and closed Christmas to after New Years. But at least they don't refuse to make a cake during the entire month of December! More later on their Yelp page about the cake quality.

There are many options when looking to buy a cake but We Heart Cake Company proved to be a solid one! While parking is on the street and can be rough, the shop is very cute and tiny. It is visible on Waialae Ave with a good amount of pink inside and on the sign outside. It was easy to order the cake online and the pick up was quick. The cake looked exactly as it did on the website, which was nice! It was a beautiful cake made of little cupcakes, which were enjoyed as a gift.

We Heart Cake Company is located in kaimuki on Waialae Avenue. There is only street parking along the front of the store. I had ordered cupcakes for my boss' birthday online. When going to pick it up, I realized I got the date wrong. The owner was so nice and allowed me to pick up 6 cupcakes. I was very appreciative that she was so accommodating. Prices are high, but that's how all bakeries are now days. The cupcake itself was moist and the frosting was not super sweet. I will definitely come back for all my cake needs.

Such a cute bakery in Kaimuki!Their website is user friendly. We ordered this while we were in another state. Very easy to confirm the date and time of pickup. They even text you a receipt as proof of purchase for the day that you pick it up.Since the eyes eats first :) This Chocolate cake is oh so pretty! It has some height to it and they show you the name plate (correct spelling) before they carefully place it into a special box with a window.The chocolate frosting is smooth all around. They delicately placed yummy chocolate candies along the top, strategically placed sprinkles along the bottom edge, and then hand crafted the special Happy Birthday name plate in gold. Now for the taste....I would have to agree with the other reviews that said the cake was a bit dry or crumbly. It has the texture of something vegan without egg, fat, nor butter. I was trying to figure out if it was the type of flour they used. Perhaps it's just their style of cake?Like I mentioned earlier, the frosting is smooth. Maybe that's where all the butter or fat content is? I would have liked the cake layers to be a little more moist, but...when eaten together with the frosting it balanced out.Great service, cute treats, I'd come back to try other items...

Great service and they made a custom cake for my daughter who loves seals! Parking is hard to find but once you know, you know.

Landed upon this place since we were in the area. I ordered a few macarons, which were tasty... but why did it come frozen? Are they not fresh?

This year she came out with some amazing new creations, was so impressed had to order and continue to purchase her ginger bread & Meringue cookies. Also, did the holiday jewel box, was so kawaii....Service is always on point and 200% amazing the owner usually comes out to say "hi", staff is always friendly and nice, Selection is just kawaii during the holidays I want to buy everything, but hold myself back...this year I did go overboard got a couple jewel boxes for friends to let them try the awesome japanese frosting on the cupcakes, meringue and ginger bread cookies and her new creation pretzel with meringue was just too cute as a favor.The meringue shortbread cookie are so good, I love them more than the regular meringue cookies or honu. I keep returning to this bakery, that's how much I love her bakery. I stopped by to purchase a cake for a coworker. The cashier was helpful in preparing the cake in a box with the topper. I have been in a couple of times and didn't realize they had cards too so I grabbed a birthday card. I didn't need candles this time but they had some cute ones. Make sure to put your number in if you are a frequent visitor as you get free items the more points you earn.

Looking for a bakery for an upcoming event. Stopped in to test out the product to get an idea of how the cakes would be. We got 4 cupcakes. The flavor was great, the frosting was light and not over sweet, the (cup) cakes were unbelievably dry. Overall we were very disappointed and concerned that maybe the cupcakes were just old but realized after cutting into all four that they were all the same. The associate informed us that they do not deliver cakes and that you would have to pick up either same day or day before. It left us concerned that any potential cake ordered form this location would be flavorful but overly dry.

One of my favorite bakeries on island! Their flavors are so good and their presentation is soo cute! Their service is amazing as well, I had forgotten to place my order in advance and gave them a call to see what items they had available to purchase in store if I stopped by the next day and they were so kind enough to accommodate the exact order I wanted!! I will always recommend this place to others!
