Wave808 Karaoke

The Wave 808 was super clean, private and excellent service! We had my son's birthday party here and they were very professional and responsive! Definitely looking forward to our next get together!

Did you know that karaoke in Japanese means empty Orchestra? This is the literal translation and I am here for it!Wave808 is a great place and one of my favorite establishments to sing karaoke. I really enjoy being able to come to a place that is clean, fairly nicely decorated, centrally located, has ample parking, and also has a decent variety of food and drinks ( they also let you bring in your own food if you want, but not drinks since they sell those there). I like how you're able to make reservations online, with reminders sent via email and or text. This place is a little bit on the pricey side as far as private rooms go, but they have a really good song selection in addition to the other reasons why I enjoy this place and I'm willing to pay for these extras. If you want these extras, but don't really wanna pay a lot, come during their off times or happy hour times: it's a little cheaper then.The people upfront are nice and sometimes engage in friendly banter. There's a little bell in your room that enables You to call on them for beverage service, or if you need a new microphone because you killed it with your scream--I mean ethereal voice.I've only gone with a couple of friends so I only know of the smaller rooms, but they do have rooms that accommodate larger parties. While the rooms are sound resistant, they are not soundproof, not that anyone cares, I think. I know we didn't. Happy singing!

This is the cleanest karaoke place I've been to on Oahu! Loved the vibe of the rooms. The staff were friendly. The song selection is great. I enjoyed how you can select songs with an iPad. Parking - street or valet. I used street parking There is food and drinks. I only ordered drinks. You order with your phone and they deliver your order. They automatically charge you tip, which is fine. The drinks weren't that great which is why I gave 4 stars. They were weak IMO.

Thankfully, after some research, we booked a res (1 of 2 this summer) at Wave808 Karaoke as it was in town and had a healthy Yelp review score.STYLEThe room sizes vary. Looks like they can accommodate small numbers (like our group of 4) or much larger groups as well. Rates will also vary from early to later in the evening. Outside drinks not allowed; bring your own food = ok. There is a QR code singers can scan to order drinks. One can choose from water, to soda, to some liquid courage/adult beverages. Service is quite prompt. The rooms have COLD A/C, fyi.READY FOR IT?Singers can choose/search for their songs/artists via a tablet. Searches can be conducted by either artist or song title. If searching by artist, all songs available for that artist/group will populate the search field. Controls for skipping songs, stopping songs, and viewing the queue can all be done via the tablet.CRUEL SUMMERSo far, we've been to Wave808 Karaoke twice. Our first visit was last month and we discovered that parking is a bit of a challenge. Options are either in the lot or street. This business is located on the second floor of the complex; its literally on the opposite end of the Chengdu restaurant. We visited for the second time inAUGUSTDuring our second visit earlier this month, it was quite crowded. We appreciated the patient of the staff at the front desk checking us in and accommodating our last minute res (we modified our arrival time).SHAKE IT OFFI'd totally recommend this place. Parking is challenging, but where in town is it not? Friendly staff and a great selection of songs.

Huge rooms to choose from!! We had a big group and the staff were very friendly. Good song choices. Bar is small but bartender is efficient. Come here for your next event!

They have been there for a year, before it was another karaoke business. The rooms are cute, new looking, and spacious. They have a bunch of rooms available and prices are easy to know as it's located online. Reservations are easy to do. When you book a room you check in and they lead you to your #. They have different room sizes available based on your party. They have the best selection of music so far as you can search or go on YouTube. They also have a camera if you wanted to take some pics in the room. They have QR codes to order food/drinks on separate tabs. I found this very convenient instead of figuring out the prices at the end of the night on a large bill. Place to try when you want to sing some Karaoke!

Room was spacious, AC was strong, and everything was clean. song selection was basically limitless and the iPad worked well. Last time i came the iPad couldn't stream some songs from YouTube but it was great this time around. Attendants were super kind and fast. Favorite place to go with my friends for a fun night!

Room was a perfect fit for my mom's 60th bday party. They were very accommodating to us, and loved the fact that we could bring our own food. Loved the technology for picking songs. Very easy already planning our next visit

Great service, the place was well kept with nice ambience, acoustics were great and very easy to queue up songs on the iPad.The only drawback was the place was pretty tight with 14 of us, we booked the large room which was supposed to accommodate 16 people but it was tight with 14.
