Great venue to have all kine get-togethers! Room is incredibly spacious and can easily fit up tp 50 people if need be. Enough room for renters to set up food tables and a bar (which already exists just BYOB). Tons of seating options available as well which helps to perpetuate those comfy vibes.Went to an event here for Kamehameha Schools and the atmosphere was bumping! Pūpū line with local beer vendors, slippers or no slippers, and get your favorite local MCs on the mics all night! Streaming movies using a projector was also a success, no technology hiccups!Would recommend utilizing this location or joining any community events held here!

Yesterday a number of hands in the community came together and organized a drive thru food pick up with our local farms, businesses, performers, fishermen, etc. it was extremely well organized. Pre order only. All food handlers had gloves, masks, and hair nets on. The food arrived in sealed containers. The amount of thought and care that went into yesterday was obvious and very much appreciated by my 'ohana.Having missed the days of Hale Noa, my husband and I have gone to quite a few events here, from Behind the Music with Cazimero, Snowbird Bento, to Merry Monarch viewing parties, to yoga, you will always find aloha, 'ono grinds, awa, and enlightening mana'o.

I needed a space to work during the day while my son was at UH camp so I got some day passes and worked from Waiwai. The parking attendant was super sweet and said if I'm there for more than 2 hours, it would be $6 but just park on the street right outside and my car would be fine. As you enter the building, there's a place to store your slippers on the right and you choose a workspace to work from. I chose a desk the first day and a coffee table the next and grabbed a cushion to get comfortable sitting on the floor. There's a small kitchenette where you can find a fridge for your lunch. Alternatively for lunch, across the street at pucks alley there is a Nijiya that has bentos and fresh nigiri plates. I was able to get quite a bit of work done in the quiet and comfortable environment. We have also been to a party here on a weekend where people can rent out the space for their events. I recommend for both event gatherings or working.

Amazing community space! They offer monthly work space memberships too if you need some place to work in. Street and lot parking. Lot parking sometimes free depending if they have an attendant or not. You can rent out space for events too. I wish this wasn't temporary space I know Kamehameha Schools are going to reform this area, but not sure what year. Love that they require folks to remove their footwear.Gender neutral bathrooms!Awa and Ai for purchase as well as other merchandise and items from local vendors!Nanea recommended!

This spot is known for 'awa and recently opened it's doors to be a community workspace during the day. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and filled with historical information. Coffees is $5 and free refills! Nice, clean, welcoming workspace with tv monitors available to use for presentations. This is an excellent alternative to meeting at the neighborhood coffee shop. Free WiFi, and remove your shoes! There is a daily charge of $10 or you can buy a membership at various levels. This spot totally beats the neighborhood coffee shop if you are in need of a quiet meeting space. Check out the vault, turned into a private meeting space, totally cool! Great artwork on the walls, and friendly staff. Parking lot is next door, and some great food places nearby in walking distance.

Super cool new venue and I love the story behind the creation of Waiwai Collective. It's a great new concept of space that can be used to study, hangout, network, have meetings and much more! You can either pay for one day or do a monthly membership. I definitely can see it as a great study spot for students and they even have a student membership (it's a super good price!) They also have awa nights, different cultural events, and live music from time to time. Check out their website for more details. The location is the old Varsity building and parking in $4 if you use their parking lot. Really love their open concept design and no shoes policy. They have seating areas on the indoor grass, tables, or wall lounge areas. Great natural lighting and they aim to be sustainable. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Gorgeous co-working space with an emphasis on Hawaiian culture. Shoes must be taken off at entrance, for there's lots of floor space where people may sit and work. Pods lining the windows are usually open as well. The "vault" room is a more private space for meetings - must be reserved ahead of time. Waiwai also prides itself on sustainability and zero waste. Definitely recommend becoming a member to take advantage of this incredible space!
